The Boston Globe, the largest newspaper in New England, endorsed Obama and McCain in the New Hampshire primary.

According to the Globe staff,

We are persuaded that none of the so-called front-runners in the
current Democratic primary process may yet represent the true choice
of the people, and suspect they are being foisted on us by a
disproportionate share of media attention, and even speaking time in
the debates.

There is a totally independent primary poll being conducted at

Independent Primary Poll: http://independentprimary.com/

We are encouraging all our participants to make your voice heard for
the candidate you really like before this poll closes at the end of
the day, this coming Tuesday, Dec. 18. This major on-line poll is
being conducted by a consortium of Independent voters around the
county, and is sure to have a significant impact on the real
primaries just about to start.

The groups running this poll do not favor one party or the other,
they vote on issues, and character of the candidate. And they are a
large constituency. Independents make up more than 40 percent of the
electorate, and it is expected there will be several hundred thousand
votes in this poll by the time it closes Dec. 18, so the media is
paying attention.

Just to give you an example, in the recent poll run by Democracy for
America, founded by current DNC chairman Howard Dean, these were the
results out of 154,000 votes cast:

Kucinich 32.97%, Gore 24.77%, Edwards 15.6%, Obama 13.86%, Clinton
4.21%, Richardson 4.09%, Other 2.05%, Dodd 1.56%, Biden 1.12%, Gravel
0.77%

Maybe we should stop letting the corporate talking heads pick our
candidates for us. Especially if you feel that the current tilt of
the coverage of the candidates does not match your first preference,
please make your voice heard now where it will really count.

Independent Primary Poll: http://independentprimary.com/

The poll closes on Tuesday, Dec. 18. So please vote now, and spread
the word to all your lists.

Please take action NOW, so we can win all victories that are supposed
to be ours, and forward this alert as widely as possible.

TO: Presidential Candidates of Des Moines Register Poll. Des Moines, Iowa or I Oh Ah! December 16, 2007

We must vote in good men into office. If we don't then the bad ones will get in. We need good, kind men to solve America's woes. We need good men who won't betray our trust with theft, ruthlessness, cruelties, cold, cold apathy. Apathy undermines Democracy says an English book paragraph exercise article sentence. English Level I Skills and Grammar.

THE GOOD MAN CARES FOR OTHERS

The hermit does not pay for what he gets because he enjoys all the comforts of civilization that he owes to the efforts of others, but contributes nothing himself. He does not take an interest in the problems of society--in the poor,in the suffering,in the struggling. He is a distastefully, self-centered man. Therefore I neither approve of him nor respect him. From para. ex. article in book English Grammar and Composition by John E. Warriner,'48,'58 also reader for College Entrance Examination Board.

By definition most people are of average intelligence. It is by its ability to make a decent life for the masses of average people and for those below average that a society is to be judged. Elliot Liebow,Jewish Anthropologist, in his 93 book Tell Them Who I Am.

Psalm 41,"I will heal him on his sickbed and cure all his ailments if he is kind to the poor." Thus, it is Christian to give healthcare to people. As cities grew people demanded healthcare, transportation, fire and police protection, playgrounds, libraries and put in 3 city forms of government for these services. Thus, it is Democracy to give healthcare, etc. to people. The Lights of Religious and Human Rights must glow in evening waters. Silent Night. Holy Night. All is calm. All is bright. Jesus came to redeem all. Eva Hart Christian Army 62-70 670 Eddy St. Sfc 94109

Obama helps us track $1,000,000,000,000 of federal spending passing Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006. Tom Coburn and Barack Obama drafted legislation to show the pork how your congress is spending your money. Here is the sight to fine the pork on all your representative at USAspending.gov . Edwards didn't get the nod in Des Moines. Here was the reason given today:

"We too seldom saw the positive optimistic campaign we found appealing in 2004. His harsh anti-corporate rhetoric would make it difficult to work with the business community to forge change."

Translation: "We are owned and controlled by big business interests. They are understandably nervous that Edwards' positions, deemed friendly to their interests in 2004, have strayed in this campaign to the side of the regular guy (the dumbfuck readers). Consequently, the corporate interests that control us feared that a determined Edwards might, in fact, forge change."

Quote from the L.A. Times ..... "As pleased as the Clinton camp probably is, it must also remember that in the past twenty years no Democrat endorsed by the Register has gone on to win the party's Presidential nomination. The paper chose Edwards in 2004, Bill Bradley in 2000 and Paul Simon in 1988. The Democratic caucuses were uncontested in 1992 and 1996." So......that means that the Des Moines Register is used to throwing their endorsements away on known losers ..... McCain is a good example. They know he doesn't have a prayer of winning Iowa or getting the nomination. An endorsement by the Des Moines Register is a "kiss of death" to a candidate!

Hillary Clinton's endorsement was cajoled, and it was REALLY a joint endorsement for her and Obama. Read the newspaper's fine print.

Hilary said to day the era of cowboy diplomacy is over. My I remind everyone, the Clinton Admn ordered massive bombing stikes on Iraq and in Serbia that lasted for years. These are two countries that had never done any harm to the U.S. It's amazing how voters continue supporting the very people who lie outrageously to them

The Register chose the person who did not get the nomination in 2004, and it did again this time. Congrats, you’re now 0 for 2.

How about if I pose this curious question?

On the last debate the moderator (apparently one of the 3 people on the editorial board) took Iraq and immigration off the table in advance. Could this have something to do with their intention of endorsing Hillary and McCain by protecting them from their perceieved weaknesses - McCain on immigration on the republican side and Hillary on the war on the democratic side? Can you imagine how bad McCain and Hillary would have looked if the issue of Immigration or Iraq and Kyle/Lieberman was raised in front of their respective primary voters?just a thought. It doesn't make sense to have a DEBATE without discussing the most pressing hot button issues for each party's primary voters except now in hind sight you see why that was the case.

This is a sober observation of the FACTS and not a conspiracy theory.
