TV Anchor Charged With Assaulting NY Cop

A television news anchor who made headlines for sending photos of herself in a bikini to a married man at the NFL Network was arrested Sunday after she punched a police officer in the face, authorities said.

Emmy Award winner Alycia Lane hit the female officer in Manhattan about 2 a.m. Sunday, said police, who provided no information about what led to the incident. The officer was treated at a hospital for a cut and was released.

From a Philly Huffnut: Our Ms Lane certainly has the chops, and the looks, but...this gal is close to over the edge.
My observation: She's a serial wife and girlfriend, which I guess makes sense to her since looks are so much a part of that biz. Like all pretty gals, if they don't have a committed 24/7 squeeze they feel like they're "less than". Why? Who knows? As for what happenned in NYC: whoops. Her answers say it all: I'm a TV Reporter! Okay. And what does that mean, again?
It's a shame, really. She's good at what she does (she can read and look great at the same time).
Maybe a couple of weeks off will do her good. Go home, Alycia, spend time with your family, lay low, do a couple of good things for the NYC Police in the public realm, apologize to the officer in question and hope 2008 brings better ratings.
You'd never see Jim Gardner act this way!
