Hillary's Top Foreign Policy Adviser: She's "More Willing To Use Force Than Her Husband"

Hillary And Bill Clinton

Horse's Mouth:

There are few media formulations more loathsome than the phrase "national security Democrat," and I just want to go on record sharing Atrios' annoyance with the fact that top Hillary supporter Richard Holbrooke feels compelled to define her in these terms:

"She is probably more assertive and willing to use force than her husband," says Richard Holbrooke, the former envoy for Bill Clinton. "Hillary Clinton is a classic national-security Democrat. She is better at framing national-security issues for the current era than her husband was at a common point in his career."

Hey idiot, how many times can you win the War Vote. Hillary's has a lock on that, move on.

"She's more likely to use force"

Bingo!

Now let me think... ...why would progressives not want someone MORE likely to start ANOTHER FREAKING WAR?!?!?!?!?!

Geez and here I thought that they were trying to sell us her "soft side."
Why tell me something that I already know, and rather than allay my fears actually add fuel to the fire. Ambassador Holbrooke it may surprise you but progressive Liberals already know that. Hillary's bellicosity is rather apparent and as subtle as Margaret Thatcher's. She is as much a part of the military-industrial complex that effectively runs the country as say Dick Cheney. It is a matter of degrees really. That should underscore the need for more dramatic reform. Eisenhower's warning has come to pass and though Hillary may be a part of the moderate wing of the military-industrial complex, she is still a part of it.

These idiots in her campaign are running like it's 2004 all over again. Can't they figure out that Americans are sick of the "global war on terror" rhetoric and policies that lead to nothing but the deaths of our own troops, an overstretched military and huge deficits that are bankrupting the country?
She has voted with Bush on just about every foreign policy and constitution destroying issue. I could really care less where she stands on health care, cause there won't be any money left to pay for anything anyway.

Oh, was I supposed to be suprised? I didn't get the memo!

Don't doubt her will for a minute... just represents the Washington establishment... not a peep about pursuing the crooks in the current administration, nothing about standing up for principles, shutting down CIA secret prisons, etc... more of the same. Electing her would simply invite more partisanship and more limp and lame Democratic nonaction...
Wish it weren't so but she aint the one...

She's a woman, and like most women suffering from dick-envy, she's got to keep waiving that imaginary dick. S/he's gotta look/sound tough. Bill, on the other hand, will rather get a blow.

Billary is so desperate! I just saw her on Couric going on and on and on about her DOG!!! How it licks her face in the morning, blah-blah-blah. She's giving Nixon's "Checkers Speech" a run for the money now.....

Is this an attempt to stereotype her Hillaryship as being the USA's own Margaret T, Golda M, Benizar B, Indira G type female leader?

Well, maybe that's a problem, maybe what she'd
need instead are SMARTS, as in 'smart enough
not to be left cleaning up after France AGAIN'.
Reference L'indochine and pre-war Iraq....hmmm...what was that? Elf? Hey!
It's even the Christmas season, too!

Energy independence, end the war, stop burning
up the budget...

This race for the white house is turn nasty and racial because we have a country full of bigots. This is going to hurt the Democratic part big time if Hillary keep using race. Yeah the Democratic party needs the black vote to win. Using race is going to take them down. We need to get rid of this America.

America are you going to be labeled as BIGOGS.

THE WORLD IS WATCHING HOW YOU ARE TREATING A BLACK MAN RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT.

ATTACKING ON HIS RACE IS A BIG MISTAKE.

ATTACKING HIM ON ISSUE IS FARE GAME.

LIBERAL BIGOTS, LIBERAL BIGOTS? YEAH THAT WHAT THEY ARE?

AMERICA IS GOING TO LOSE

Richard Holbrooke gave a tribute to Paul Wolfowitz in 2000. Holbrooke is a likely Secretary of State for Hillary Clinton. He is Hillary's neocon.

As Head of the State Departments Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs he helped 200,000 Indonesians meet their deaths. He has good credentials from Vietnam. More recently, he was in the middle of the Yugoslavia imbroglio where NATO got to flex its muscles to supply radical Muslins who helped launch the attacks on 9-11.

Even Bush considered him as a neocon but Holbrooke ostensibly, at least, is a Democrat, just as Hillary is.

I favor Edwards and Kucinich so please don't refer to the "Nader herd" or whatever. Thanks.
