Report: Apple's Leopard Operating System Leaps To Record Sales
Apple's new OS X Leopard certainly got off to a strong start, with the company moving 2 million copies of the operating system in just two days. But with no other news coming out of Cupertino (or anyone else) since then, some began to speculate Leopard may have been a cat built for speed...and not necessarily endurance. Not so, says the NPD Group.
While it didn't provide actual numbers, the market research firm claims that sales of Leopard during its first full month on store shelves beat out all other operating systems Apple has ever released.
