Giuliani Begins Retreat From New Hampshire

Rudolph Giuliani's decision to largely abandon the early voting state of New Hampshire and concentrate his efforts on the Florida primary three weeks later reflects an uncomfortable truth for the former New York mayor: The more he campaigned in the Granite State and the more he spent on advertising there, the more his poll numbers dropped.

Mr. Giuliani appears to be making a virtue of necessity by sounding the retreat in New Hampshire, where he continues to be outgunned by the Republican front-runner there, Mitt Romney, and where he has been beaten into second place by the resurgent campaign of Senator McCain.

It will be so pleasurable to watch Rudy pull out of the race if that does happen. He is the biggest piece of crap to run for the presidency since David Duke. Of course, Duke never had a chance. But Rudy does. And that is dangerous.

Rudy became unhinged because some guy owned a ferret. Not the person you want with his finger on the nuclear button. At least Cheney watches over his little ward, Dubyah. Rudy was an egotistical, maniacal despot when he was Mayor. From ferret owners to squeegee guys, no one escaped the wrath of Herr Rudy. I DO see mushroom clouds if Rudy is elected. Maybe a few over Mexico and some over Canada. This guy IS seriously unhinged. I think he got beat up as a child by a lot of smaller kids. So now he's got to make up for that. The problem with Rudy tanking is a 'superior' candidates ain't exactly going to come floating to the top of the RNC slag heap. These guys are literally in a contest to see who's the biggest neanderthal, pandering to the absolute worst tendencies of their radical right base.

Considering the general idiocy level in this country I'd say we've now got about a 45% chance of having the nation run by someone who thinks referring to tornadoes as 'acts of God' is sacreligious.
