Blackwater

The U.S. embassy in Iraq is investigating another deadly shooting incident involving its Blackwater bodyguards -- this time of the New York Times's dog.

Staff at the newspaper's Baghdad bureau said Blackwater bodyguards shot Hentish dead last week before a visit by a U.S. diplomat to the Times compound.

To the guy who says he wants to find where some Blackwater guys live and go after them: I know three. They're up for it. I've even got donations to pay your air fare.

Rather than the ordinary, honorably discharged veteran with at least 2 years in specialty of PSD (the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM STANDARD for Blackwater), these guys have spent 18-26 years doing special ops for the military, and have a variety of medals for valor, humanitarian service and professionalism.

Just reply in this forum or drop me an email. I'll bring a camera. Wouldn't want you claiming they attacked you unprovoked.

By the way, Muslims consider dogs unclean and disgusting and frequently kill them out of hand. Way to respect the local culture, New York Times.

Support the troops--let us do our job.

The dog in the photo is from National Lampoon. Here is a link to the original photo.

Hey HuffPost,

The photo, that accompanies this post,as far as I can tell, is of a white Lab.

As somebody who has raised Labs I can state that Labs are one of the most people friendly types of dogs. They are bred as bird dogs and of the larger dogs, ie, Rot Weilers, German Sheppards, etc. they are the most people friendly.

I have a black Lab named Maggie. Her bark is ferocious but her bite is non-existent.

Having said that, I have had encounters with vicious Rot Weilers, St. Bernards, and German Sheppards.

Practice, Practice.

After Dick Cheeny nukes a US city in the next false flag 9-11 type operation, Blackwater will take to the streets of the US and kill US citizens like turkeys.

Americans should arm themselves HEAVILY - the time is coming - remmember Nazi Germanny ? That is the model folks.

Good luck with those 08 elections hahahahaha.

Dogs? Iraqis? WTF is the difference? Blackwater has the absolute right to obliterate anything in its way. That's their mission. Soon, they'll be running educational and prison institutions in this country. They are all war criminals and are required to retain a good number of nazis in their employ.

It seems that the media world has devolved into
fiefdoms all serving King George. It's one
fiefdom attacking another. It's pathetic how the New York Times under Junior Sulzberger has
fallen, a once giant, once reputable purveyor
of "news" can't even fend off Blackwater, a
neo-conservative, brown-shirt fascist security
company sucking from the national security teat.

All they shot was a dog? That sounds like a pretty slow morning for Blackwater.

I heard that dog had a GIGANTIC carbon footprint, belched and farted constantly.

Blackwater just saved 13 polar bears by killing that dog, you should thank them!!!!

Clearly the dogs involved thought they were protecting their territory. It's what dogs do. If all the people involved are too stupid to understand that, the dogs might be better off euthanized, rather than live with careless, foolish, uncaring people. Dogs are dogs and don't always understand people rules. It's up to the humans in charge to control things.

Every time I go up town
The boys keep kickin' my dog around
Makes no difference if he's a hound
They gotta quit kickin' my dog around
(I think, Buffy Sainte-Marie, don't know the song title)

I hate to see any dog hurt, but reading the NYT own report shows they had lost control of their dog. It would of been better if they had shot one of the NYT reporters...any dog is better than a MSM reporter.

Well, they shoot humans don't they?

However, and if HP is dabbling in "shock and awe" reporting, the picture did get my attention...disgusting!

Disgusting someone at HP even created the photo, albeit a cut & paste project.

Even more disgusting if it were created in real time.

Disgusting the story was elevated to lead status AND blessed by the Editor.

Disgusting HP would stoop to this level of moronic reporting.

Please maintain HP's integrity by NOT becoming just another "stinky" tabloid enterprise.
