Tom Cruise Valkyrie

Variety:

United Artists and MGM have pushed back the release of Bryan Singer's Tom Cruise starrer "Valkyrie" from the July 4th holiday frame to Oct. 3, 2008.

Singer has yet to shoot a pivotal battle scene that explains how Cruise's character, a Nazi officer who is part of a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler, lost his eye and hand while fighting in Africa. Battle scene was originally set to be shot outside the U.S., but those plan were scuttled. UA is in the process of nailing down a new location.

UA, which Cruise and producing partner Paula Wagner revived last year, wants to make sure Singer has the time he needs. Film had been set to open June 27.

Scientology tip #212
An eye patch on one eye and squinting with the other helps keep the evil space aliens out.

Very dashing, Tom! Love the eye patch, so “bad boyâ€. Just add an ascot to that uniform and you’re looking like that late man about town friend of yours, L Ron.

The reason why journalists in Hollywood chose
"TomKat"
as the name is because of the
world-famous
TOMKAT Theater, in Hollywood
where men who "are not gay"
go to check out other guys,
and have gay sex
even though they are not gay.

Actually Tom's a pretty good guy. I met him skiing in Aspen. Total Gentleman.

Release it in April and re-title it "Springtime for Hitler"!

Just another excuse for HuffPost to slam Tom Cruise with an inflammatory photo coupled with a misleading headline. (Why not call it an "anti-Nazi" film or a "kill-Hitler" film, hmm?). He must be deep on Arianna's #@(#-list or something.

Actually L. Ron Hubbard spoke to Tom about doing this. Is Hubbard still dead?

Can anyone tell me if the "TomCat" photo shows him in costume for the movie or is that his regular attire? Hmmm!
