Tv Anchor And Governor

New details are emerging about Philadelphia TV Anchor Alycia Lane's Sunday arrest for punching a New York City police officer in the face. After being released from custody, Lane called Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell.

According to a Rendell spokesperson, Lane wanted to tell him her side of the events because he's an "opinion maker" and "influential." The spokesperson says that Rendell wasn't asked to intervene.

Police in NYC and Philadelphia have been arresting private US citizens for taking pictures of there activity. The cops are often breaking the law or being abusive when filmed.
This story is about YOUR LOSS OF FREEDOM AS AN AMERICAN....it has nothing to do with how this person looks or what her personality is like or any other superficial things.
It is sad that people on a progressive web site don't stand up for Freedom for American Citizens.
This same thing has happened dozens of times in the last few years, this time it involves someone on TV.

interesting how vile some of the comments have been about this news reporter without much information about the situation.

Some misogyny??

How about waiting to get information before calling her names and assailing her? Gees!?!!

Let's cut to the chase.

A private citizen was taking photographs on a public street, which is a perfectly legal activity.
A police officer attempted to stop her, despite any right or duty under the law to interfere with this private citizen.
When the private citizen resisted the unlawful actions of the police officer, she was arrested.

In my opinion, only the agents of a tyrannical government would defend the police in this matter.

We are over the waterfall here folks.
Only a vote for Ron Paul can stop this now.
I don't even particularly like Ron Paul nor many of his positions, but I hope my fellow Democrats can understand why this Jeffersonian Democrat MUST vote for him.

I'm missing something here.... Her 'crime' was to send pictures of her in a bikini along with some of her friends... soooo.... we've to fingerprint and book her for that? News or not news; uncomfortable or not for Mrs. Eisen - Ms. Lane should be cuffed and treated like she just knocked over the local 7/11? Somewhere, we've lost sight of what police state does and does not do... Hitting a cop is never good but how far do we roll over in the face of 'authority'?

She has her people posting on this thread
about how hot she is etc. Bottom line...
SHE IS TOAST. She will be fired and then
she will have to 'consider her options'.

Her options? GET ANOTHER SUGAR DADDY.

I don't know of this anchor woman. I do know that media hosts have become problematic because of their celebrity status.

I have seen and experienced the Cops overreacting many times. It is foolish to lay hands on a cop though even when they beat you without reason.
Philly cops are notorious for stealing money, harassing and intimidating and shooting peole without cause.
I have no idea of the details of this particular case since I wasn't there, have seen no footage or heard credible objective eyewitness accounts.
Cops need to be reined in regardless...it is only in Soviet like countries that cops can ado anything, and that is close to what is happening in the USA.

I really would like to probe her "dirty place" to determine her if she's guilty or not.
