Barack Obama suggested Friday that he has more foreign policy experts from the Clinton administration backing his candidacy over Hillary Rodham Clinton's, but lists provided by both campaigns show hers is nearly twice as long.

Clinton's campaign provided more than 80 names of her husband's former foreign policy advisers who are publicly backing her, while Obama's campaign provided 47.

We have excellent candidates running for the Democratic nomination whose Christmas stockings aren't stuffed with Corporate Wealth. Remember Obama has received over $100m in money from corporations to run against the other Democrats.

The choices are: Biden, Richardson, Dodd, Kucinich, Edwards in the order of experience.

Check out their websites, vote in your own self-interst, and become an informed voter. Best Christmas present we can all do for one another.

"My foreign policy hawks can beat up your foreign policy hawks."

"I can sell out domestic jobs faster than you can - I'll get a super NAFTA to sell out labor faster than you while 'fooling stupid working people."

"I'm more middle of the road than you are!"

Obama and Hillary are the big sellouts! Enough already! They are both sellouts!

Reach out and sell yourselves out but neither fools me. Both are Republican-lite characters.

Try coming from a progressive position rather than a sold out position. Neither of them will heal anything other than their own power-driven egos.

The problem is, we can't tell from this cheesy "journalism" from the Associated Press whether or not Obama's list was more factual and honest than Clinton's. Was she grasping at straws, naming anyone an "expert"? Was he being unfair? We don't know. Therefore this article is useless.

Does this comparison of the lists really "show," or do they lie. Note that they put Clinton's 80 first, accepted as gospel, while putting Obama's 47 last, for effect.

As Socrates would say over 2000 years ago, when framing an argument, it all comes down to "defining your terms." What exactly is a "foreign policy advisor?"

Is a foreign policy expert anybody with an opinion? Or is it a bona fide expert with experience and a degree?

This is why these kinds of "revelations" should be viewed with a grain of salt.

Anthony Lake later served as National Security Advisor (1993-1997) and then White House Special Envoy (1998-2000). As special envoy Lake mediated the drafting of the Algiers Agreement, ending the Eritrean-Ethiopian War.

Anthony Lake from National Security Advisor to special envoy, methinks Anthony Lake support for Obama is probably sour graps.

Bill Burton, Obama's spokesman, tried to suggest that Obama does have more advisers than Hillary, stating that 73 foreign policy experts are advising the campaign, with about 80 more advising but not giving their names publicly.

So Obama 153 foreign policy experts advising him.

Odd (maybe) ..I've seen this "story" posted the last two days, and all I could think of was:

"My dog's bigger than YOUR dog!!!"

"Oh yeah...well MY dad can beat up YOUR dad!!"

How ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!

Who will give out MORE government doughnuts
between the two? The person promising the most

Geez....reading these comments, its like people getting overly caught up in fantasy football or something. People make statements over the course of the day, Obama is no exception, not all of them perfect. So, he misquoted a New York Times article. It doesn't seem intentional and he probably believes it anyway. If he keeps saying it, that's different but the reporter who wrote this is trying to hard to play that 'gotcha' game journalists love.

The Republicans so want Hillary to be nominated, it would energize their base and give them a good chance to hold on to their seats in congress. Can"t you see Republican voters coming out of the woodwork to vote against Hillary, such a massive vote work in their favor.

Barack Obama on the other hand is Ronald Reagan like, much like he had Democrats for Reagan, Obama has Republicans for Obama, there are many long time Republicans registering as Democrats to vote in the primary for Obama. A general election with a Republican candidate running against Obama could cause much damage to the Republican party.

On the one hand, Hillary and Bill Clinton will energize the Republican base, on the other hand Barack Obama will appeal to the Republican base. Now who do the Republicans want to run against, notice how they are no longer mentioning Hillary Clinton on their stomp speeches. Hmmmmmmm

Correction: Mr. Obama, you must DEFINE your personal VISION and JUST HOW YOU plan to implement this vision. Peace

NOTE TO BARACK OBAMA: Stop acting like the old-style POLITICIANS! Stick to the vision, baby. The more you play the game, the deeper YOU will get BURIED in their game! Many of them are PROS at DIRT and they WILL BURY YOU! Choose your OWN rules and go with it! If you have the vision, it will resonate with "WE the People"! Peace

For those who are totally sick of the media's Obama vs Hillary and the trivia pursuit of either of them, may I suggest another alternative. Vote for Joe Biden and you can get the most experienced person who is running for President.

Also if you want a nice chuckle before Christmas, read this article. Nothing is humorous unless there is a grain of truth in it. Enjoy!

The Hillbama Factor: Hillary vs. Obama " Democrats Shouldn't Vote for Either

"With only weeks to go to the January 3rd Iowa causes, can it be true that Democrats are about to nominate either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, their two worst candidates? It could be true.

The 24 hour news cycle that America has become fixated with over the past decade has led to coverage, not of issues and political views, but of horse races and celebrity. In turn, the news organizations are a slave to ratings. If the most popular candidates receive most of the coverage, then the rating will be higher, or so their logic tells them. As a result, they"ve invented a "Hillbama" persona that is mass marked to the country every night.

Seldom have democrats stopped to think, "Maybe Clinton and Obama aren"t the best choices." The few who have realize quickly that any of the other national candidates are better for America, for the world, and are better qualified to perform the duties of the job....

*ALL* of Bill's people should be on Team Hillary. That a huge number are not is telling. The exact # is splitting hairs. Why don't those people have confidence in her great "experience"? What is it they see about Obama that makes them prefer him to Hillary? That's the real story.

Everyone knows that it is not the size of the ship, it is it's motion in the ocean that counts.
