Senator John McCain of Arizona, whose bid for the Republican presidential nomination was all but dead this summer, has made a dramatic recovery in the Granite State 2 1/2 weeks before the 2008 vote, pulling within 3 percentage points of front-runner Mitt Romney, a new Boston Globe poll indicates.

McCain, the darling of New Hampshire voters in the 2000 primary, has the support of 25 percent of likely Republican voters, compared with 28 percent for Romney. Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani has slid into third place, with 14 percent. A Globe poll of New Hampshire voters last month had Romney at 32 percent, Giuliani at 20 percent, and McCain at 17 percent.

First the left pounds McCain, then the right, then the left, then the right....

If you think about it, he must not be that bad.

The campaign fundraising tells the true story- how many people are willing to put their money up to support this man? Not many, from what I hear. To paraphrase Mark Twain: reports of McCain's comeback have been exaggerated.

You are all attention deficient! So forget how many stupid words have been spoken by this mentally ill man and never mind he is totally owned by a foreign government and has publicly stated that he will gladly kill American kids for the deranged aggressive polices of a foreign power.
He is your new lover and don't you love him?

Comeback my a$$....and only if we're to believe these 'polls,' the same ones that miraculously alter elections' final outcomes each 2 years. I'd guess the figures are 100 percent fake, but with enough days and weeks of headlines telling us "why," we end up swallowing the lies while scratching our heads muttering: "Hmmmmm, who'da thunk it, Margaret?"

McCain runs on the "I'm so tough 'cause I was a POW" stance, hoping the issue is always raised so he can act like Mr. Humble.

Where'd his family get their millions? From the crime syndicate Bronfman family which his wife inherited and continues to make millions from.

And atop of that, it's easy for us to see that, since the family is embroiled in illegal monies, that it was a simple case of, well, I open that door every day, I think it's safe to say it's Ok to open the Keating Five door, 'cause I deserve money for nothing.

Bottom line: why do the Vietnam conflict POW and MIA families hate his guts? That's another 20 chapters that he doesn't want written.

McCain is the Jimmy Buffet of Republican politics.

Wasting away again in Post Traumatic Stress Syndromeville.

Searching for my lost kernel of sanity.

Some people claim that there's a POW camp to blame.

But he knows. It's his own ego's fault.

So McCain - the warmonger - will likely face a democrat who votes to fund the war and will promise no withdrawal of American troops before 2013.

The people want the war to end and voted that way in 2006.

And look at what we wind up with.

Nixon On Jewish
Domination Of America
12-19-7

"There may be some truth in that if the Arabs have some complaints about my policy towards Israel, they have to realize that the Jews in the U.S. control the entire information and propaganda machine, the large newspapers, the motion pictures, radio and television, and the big companies, and there is a force that we have to take into consideration."

-- Richard Milhous Nixon, Thirty-Seventh President of the United States of America, as quoted by Leonard Dinnerstein, Antisemitism in America, Oxford University Press, New York, (1994), pp. 232-233. Dinnerstein cites: "Clipping of Fikri Abbaza, interview with Richard Nixon, Al-Mussawar, July 12, 1974, folder 'Jewish Matters, 1969-1974,' box 5, Leonard Garment mss., LC."

Is this really a McCain comeback?
This sudden surge in the polls for McCain could be the simple fact that republicans don't know where to turn. They are looking for that catch phrase, sound bite that sounds good to them. Then they sway to that candidate. Since 1999(probably earlier), Rove has been feeding his party with these sound bites, that keep the party in order. But in reality, they nothing but lies. But this is what the multitude responded to. So, now, whenever they hear something that they like, they gravitate to that candidate.
The republicans are viewed as a very unstable party. Their strategy is to keep America where it is today.
That is not a future for our country.
If the members of the republican party begin to think for themselves, then they can progress into the future successfully. But, if they continue to let the officials in the party think for them, they are doomed.
McCain is not saying anything new on Iraq. In fact he wants to escalate the war. This is not what the majority of the voters in America want.
I believe that the republican voters are confused by what they are hearing. That could be the only reason for McCain's surge.

McCain may be a deceitful Amerca-hating fascist. But at least he hasn't committed treason against the United States like traitor Cheney.

Please consider joining me and over 130,000 other Americans supporting Congressman Wexler's call for Cheney impeachment. You can sign Wexler's petition in under 30 seconds, and you don't have to divulge much of your info.

Impeachment for Cheney is what America needs most. Together we can make it happen!
