A stunning new Iowa poll seems to show the New York senator with an apparent double-digit lead over her nearest rival among likely Democratic caucus goers, with voting just over a week away.

Iowa polling is notoriously difficult because of the unpredictable nature of caucus voting. Still, the Clinton campaign is still sure to view these results as an early Christmas gift: she and Barack Obama were neck-and-neck in last week's American Research Group poll. In the new survey, conducted December 20-23, she leads the Illinois senator by 15 percentage points, 34 to 19 percent. Obama is now in a statistical tie for second place with John Edwards, who has 20 percent of the vote.

This report is unreliable because it is so dramatically different than every other poll that has been coming out of Iowa, including the most recent WaPo/ABC one, which has Obama leading with 3% of the vote.

Big shock...only if you believe the media who continue to pretend it's a real horserace. Edwards...whereas I doubt it...he could pull ahead. Obama...there never was a chance. Some people will believe anything that gets repeated enough.

Oh great --- the media are shoving Hillary down out throats, and the people of Iowa are falling for it, instead of voting for a real Democrat.

People, vote for a real Democrat: Kucinich or Edwards. At least in the primaries, give someone else a chance.

Hillary is too pro-corporate. Hillary is for more NAFTA. Hillary is for more war on terror. Hillary is for more military.

NO! We need change in 2008, not another Republican-light.

Obama wins the hearts of voters.
Hillary wins their minds.
Clearly they are thinking with their heads here

It's a Festivus Miracle!

It's difficult to believe any poll with such a dramactic shift, particularly one which indicates a large portion of men moving to Hillary. It's just not consistent with what we are hearing on the ground.

Isn't it odd. With a DOUBLE DIGIT lead over the nearest opponent, we see negative reporting seems to, apprantly, can it be stated in a more negative.

I guess the sour grapes of Hillary Clinton leading so overwhelming over Obama, is showing the MSM and writers still have to bash her.

Polls mean little except to attempt to sway the public sheep opinion. Previous polls suggested Obama had a strong lead.

Exit polls had Kerry winning by a large margin on aught four.
