Report: Iran Would Suffer Up to 20 Million Casualties in Nuclear War With Israel

Fox News:

An estimated 16-20 million Iranians would die in a nuclear war with Israel, according to a report issued by a respected Washington think tank.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) also estimates that between 200,000 and 800,000 Israelis would be killed, the Jerusalem Post reported.

The report, which is theoretical and based on limited verified knowledge of Israel's and Iran's nuclear capability, paints a bleak picture for both nations.

Well, given the horrific casualties, and the fact that Iran has not attacked another country for about 250 years and poses virtually no threat whatsoever to Israel either now or in the future, I would say that it would be in the US's best interest to prevent Israel from making such a move under ANY circumstances.

Frankly, though, I don't think that there is even the SMALLEST possibility that Israel will ever do something so insane.

This is just more Neocon wetdreams, and those guys have lost ALL their gravitas both here and in Israel long ago.

Any country that knowingly launches a nuclear war which will releases huge quantities of radioactive material into Earth's atmosphere is an irresponsible and dangerous rouge nation and rightfully deserves to be ground completely to dust.

So George, did you have someone tell you about this? I don't believe the story that you read a lot. This article understates what would happen. The size of nuclear attack that would kill this many Iranians would devastate the entire middle east unless you can get the wind to blow straight up for a long time. Americans are used to a large country with miles and miles to any where. The middle east is a bunch of tiny countries that are smaller then most of our states. Good by oil industry. Chavez is king of the world. I suppose you plan to own Venezuela. Then that would make you king. Is this your middle east foreign policy?

Well, this article is pretty stupid and blatant war propaganda because Iran does not have nuclear weapons and wouldn't think of going after the fourth powerful military in the world.

We know that Israel is the only country there with nuclear capabilities and because they have a psychotic history of invading others, they are not going to allow its nuclear monopoly to be threatened.

This is a country that is illegally occupying the natural inhabitants of their land and won't hesitate to invade it's neighbors and kill millions in the process.
