"Dr. Phil" McGraw thinks Lynne Spears, mother to Britney Spears and her knocked-up younger sister, "Zoey 101" star Jamie Lynn Spears, is doing a fine job as a parent.

"We know the Spears family, particularly the parents," McGraw told People magazine. "An asset that Britney and Jamie Lynn both have is a great and dedicated mother."

McGraw, known for lecturing his guests on his popular talk show, "Dr. Phil," doesn't seem to apply that same philosophy to his friends.

All this tells me is that old fat letch Dr Phil wants to have sex with Lynne Spears.

Where is Mr Spears in all of this by the way? Or is Lynne Spears like Leanne Cartman?

Robin McGraw on Brittney's mom:

"I talked to Lynne . . . and she said they're turning to prayer, [and] asked that I pray for them.

"That's how they're going to get through it."

Scary.

Calling Phil a doctor is stretching it.
He's a psychologist.
He's also a media idiot made big by the biggest racist ever - Oprah.

And Mrs. Doctor Phil is quoted as saying, "the family is a very close knit one"......Either I'm missing the "close knit" gene or I just didn't read the quote correctly.

What is close knit about a family where the mother pimps her children out for fortune and fame ??? and stands by while one damages her grandchildren beyond belief and the other one turns out to not be the virginal little goddess that she's been sold as?

I have never put much stock in a "psychologist" whose verbal delivery is abusive, cruel and rude. Just an aside, what is that deal with him grabbing his wife and walking out of the studio? Is Mrs. Doctor Phil that insecure?

And HE goes on to evaluate celebrity families..........

My Grandmother, who only went as far as the seventh grade, had more common sense, style, wit and insight into the human psyche than Dr. Phil has on his best day. It is time for that overweight, pompous, gasbag to go away. Turn off the television set America, for God's sake turn off the television set!

If Dr. Phil had some ordinary middle class mother on his show whose 16 yer old daughter was pregnant, he would be yelling at her about all the ways she failed the child.

Pretty much like his mentor(ess), Dr. Phil represents the what that old cliche refers to as the triumph of style over substance. He was a half-baked pop psychologist before, and all he's done now is prove that not much has changed.

"a great and dedicated mother" - as far as common white trash goes... ;)

Dr Phil... my God... the name says it all. He sounds like a Sesame Street character.

Need to hear more to know that Dr. Phil is a fraud?
He must have had the Spears Mom all lined up for an appearance on his show to promote her "Christian Parenting" book before Zoey 101 got immaculately inseminated.

Oh, that our lives called all be touched by the timeless wisdom of "Dr." Phil McGraw.

Speaking of major league fake "Dr." a-holes, has anyone listened to "Dr." Laura Schlessinger lately? It boggles the mind that so many American women could call that piece 'o crap for advice, but there she is every day from 1:00pm to 4:00pm every weekday on AM radio stations everywhere spewing out her venomous intellectually and emotionally mind numbing slime. Man, this country needs a new paradigm. Conservatism is about as helpful as a rotting landfill.
