It's that time of the year again: year-end list season. And doesn't it seem like it comes earlier every year?
One of the latest is the New York Times's list of new words, which, according to the Times, are "portkeys and improbability starships into other cultures, workplaces, minds." In other words, new words are like hanging out with Woody Harrelson.
