"To Benazir Bhutto, to her friends, to her supporters, we send our condolences to the families of the others who were killed in today's violence, and we send our condolences to all the people of Pakistan on this tragic occasion. The United States strongly condemns this cowardly act by murderous extremists who are trying to undermine Pakistan's democracy. Those who committed this crime must be brought to justice. Mrs. Bhutto served her nation twice as prime minister, and she knew that her return to Pakistan earlier this year put her life at risk, yet she refused to allow assassins to dictate the course of her country. We stand with the people of Pakistan in their struggle against the forces of terror and extremism. We urge them to honor Benazir Bhutto's memory by continuing with the democratic process for which she so bravely gave her life."

they say that something in the nervous system of a human being betrays a lier taking one of those polygraph tests, when the needle in the machine goes crazy if the person answering the examiner's question knows that he/she is lying.

why did georgie's eye-blinking-rate go crazy as he said, "murderous extremists ...", "those who committed this crime must be brought to justice" ... "she refused to allow assassins to dictatate the course of her country ..." "...forces of terror and extremism".

if the eye blinking rate of a lying ovaloffice squatter might be taken as a measure of truth or lack thereof, one might think that bush knew who killed benazir bhutto, and that in calling for the assassins to come to justice he knew that he was signing his own sentence to be brought to justice.

He put his foot in his mouth right from the start. Sending condolences to a dead woman.

What a lame, pitiful, sham of a man. Too bad the old George didn't pull out.

With the assassination of PM Benazir Bhutto, the United States has lost a strong ally in the war on terror. Unlike Musharraf who refuses to crackdown on Al Qaeda the Taliban and the hunt for bin Laden, Benazir Bhutto would have kept her promise to go after terrorists like Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden and try and cleanse Pakistan of terrorism. Today we really blew it!

Yea, Bush, they will be brought to justice just the way you brought Osamba Bin Laden to justice, or was it someone else who said" I don't even think about him anymore.

For all we know the US could have set this up so they could keep their puppet Musharaff in office.

Joe Biden's previous articles he wrote on November 6th and 8th on Pakistan and what the US should do to avoid a crisis. Pakistan is one of eight countries with nuclear weapons. Biden has been talking weekly with President Musharrif who has actually endorsed Biden for President because Biden is the most knowledgeable about his country of Pakistan, and is the only Presidential candidate who even cared - been in the newspapers in Pakistan about a month ago, the formal endorsement. Biden cared when no one else did, not even President Bush. So tragic.

Americans - please remember what Joe Biden is aware of - Bin Laden is in Pakistan and has been for years. Bush and the US Media has not had their eyes on the right target, in Pakistan.

"must be brought to justice." Meaning, executed in high Texas style, no doubt.

Those who did this will be brought to justice, unless, of course, it was Osama bin Laden, who we don't think about any more, or Pervez Musharraf, who is our friend, in which case, of course, they won't.

Empty, meaningless words from an empty, meaningless shell of a man.

OK Bush, Your grand scheme thwarted; that of bringing Bhutto back to power so she would give you permission to invade the northern provinces of Pakistan, how do you bring Musharaff to justice?

Georgie, let's just get that One Guy, that Old Man, that old guy living in a cave in your friends country -- ya know the guy who ATTACKED America during YOUR watch, during the time You, Condi, Dickie and all at the White House were talking (bragging ?) about how you only had to and only did work 9 to 5. Liberal media, no way, they would have jumped all over that 9 to 5 statement, only a conservative media would let that slip by.

Get the guy WHO ATTACKED US, let them worry about their attackers, However, please learn by them, as THEY GET THEIR MAN, the USA under Bush does not. He lives in a cave, for crying out loud, get him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We gave you a army, the power, the money, and now even the time, yet he is FREE, nice legacy bushie and all who voted for him.

"Those who committed this crime must be brought to justice." The same way that bin Laden has been brought to justice for 9/11? That really turned out well didn't it?

"Bush Reacts"?
Very comforting words from our Commander in Chief who is also a War Criminal.
What's the next headline, "Cheney sends Condolences and Flowers"?

The situation in Pakistan is tragic. It's terrible to watch as representatives of the people are gunned down or bombed for TRYING to help bring about progressive change in an otherwise hostile environment.
Sad day for democratic ideals.
