Huckabee Lays Waste To Area Fauna

Nothing quite captures the pomp and pageantry of the Iowa Caucuses as well as that moment when one of the candidates trudges out into some snow-covered field in order to prove that they're man enough to kill something. And so, we have this well-trafficked video of Mike Huckabee, on the hunt for pheasant and aiming his shotgun a little too close to the reporters who had to tromp along, "covering" this "story." Huckabee's hunting party bagged themselves three pheasants. Whether any of the birds Huckabee allowed to go free went on to rape and murder anybody later in the day is still undetermined.

Of course, it was Mike Huckabee that once said, "When they're shooting at you, it means you're in front." So there you have it. Pheasants are the GOP front-runners in Iowa. In a world where Tom "Stop the Mexicans...before it's too late!" Tancredo can endorse sanctuary-mansion-maintaining Mitt Romney, this is perfectly plausible.
