Bill Kristol Nyt

The Huffington Post has learned that, in a move bound to create controversy, the New York Times is set to announce that Bill Kristol will become a weekly columnist in 2008. Kristol, a prominent neo-conservative who recently departed Time magazine in what was reported as a "mutual" decision, has close ties to the White House and is a well-known proponent of the war in Iraq. Kristol also is a regular contributor to Fox News' Special Report with Brit Hume.

Update: The New York Times has confirmed the decision to hire Kristol.

HELL YES, cancel the NY Times subscription. (Which I did when they withheld information about domestic spying until after Bush was re-elected in 2004.)

Bill Kristol doesn't need a column to spew his shit. The President does it every day from the bully pulpit and then there's Fox News....

These people are well represented. They own the world.

What's wrong with people like William "the Bloody" Kristol? As a matter of fact, what's wrong with the whole neocon cabal?

What do they think like? Why do they feel that human life is insignificant? Why do they think that money is more important than life? They're not going to take it (money) to their grave.

They're just like you and I but they think they're above us. Why?

It's obvious that war brings monetary rewards to them, but at what price? Other peoples lives, that's the price that we pay for their enrichment.

We don't remain silent. We scream and we shout and we march and we write our representatives. Yet they ignore us. Pelosi, Reid, Feinstein are all in the top ten of the most corrupt in Washington.

We are the majority and they won't listen to us. Why?

The Times is trying to compete with Murdoch's soon to be even more hateful Wall Street Journal.

The PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER just hired Rick Santorum as a columnist. RICK SANTORUM!!!!!
Can you imagine anything worse than a cup of coffee and Rick Santorum in the morning. To whom are these whore newspapers trying to appeal? No wonder the print media is dying.

The NYT abandoned its reputation and sold out to the corporate war mongers and the neoconservatives at the start of the Bush administration. Bill Kristol is identified as a neocon, but almost NEVER is labeled as the founder of the Project for a New American Century. PNAC remains a taboo topic in the mainstream media.

For those who STILL have no clue as to who orchestrated the war as well as everything the led up to the carnage and the destruction of the Constitution, please learn the facts about Kristol and his murderous bunch:

IT'S LIKE NEWSWEEK HIRING ROVE...

Let's hope it has a similar subscription-cancellation effect....

If this is true, the Gray Lady's starting to look more and more like an antiquated crack whore.

Yes, by all means, cancel your subscription. For one column space a week, less than 1% of the entire weekly content of the NYT, you will cancel. That is a sensible, proportionate gesture. That'll show 'em!
Some progressive people would rather repress an opposing view than air it and refute it. That's no different than the Bill O'Reilly crowd. Are you really that insecure?
