Huckabee Advisor Mobilizes Pastors To Turn Out Congregations

Here's an explicit example of how Mike Huckabee is relying on an outsourced Get-Out-The-Caucusers effort and on the implied support of pastors -- under the radar.

Pastor Rick Scarborough is hosting a conference call with Iowa pastors to discuss the caucus... joining him are Dr. Tim "Left Behind" LaHaye and Dr. Michael "Home School" Farris.

All three are committed supporters of Mike Huckabee. An e-mail sent to Iowa pastors advertising the call doesn't mention Huckabee -- that wouldn't be legal -- but does say that pastors "have a duty" to keep their congregants "informed" and to lead them to "participate" in the caucuses.

Farris has been a senior unpaid adviser to Huckabee from day one and was key in helping to organize the families of home schoolers to attend the Republican straw poll in Ames last summer.

"Iowa Church Vote Edging Toward Huckabee"

Good.

I hope they continue getting closer, closer, closer to the "edge"...

Oooooops!

They fell off.

Watch this and then decide, what did the founding fathers want and where are we heading, or who were the founding fathers after all?
On May 8th I think we are suppose to see the national ID being implemented with the RFID technology where by the whole process of being under the watch of Uncle Sammie is put into action. Do any of the others know about this?

If you'd like a refresher on where we've been, how we got there and where we're headed regardless of who's elected see Aaron Russo's movie here. If this doesn't wake a few people up nothing will.

The last half of this movie is even more disturbing which I found amazing, I thought the first part was scary but as the film goes on, well it does make one wonder.

hopefully, HICKABEE will be the final nail in the 2008 rethuglican coffin, reminding american voters in a big way just why our founding fathers explicitly separated church and state -

Fuck-a-bee is the perfect example of why I have a great aversion to organized religion and religion in general.

I find it hard to believe that there's some guy-in-the-sky, all knowing, all powerful, being that watches everything we do and judges us and will condemn us to Hell or deliver us to paradise. That anyone actually believes this tripe is insane, you might as well believe in Santa Claus. And anyone that would believe this crap shouldn't be running for office anyway (which certainly trims the field down for me).

Fuck-a-bee is just another pandering politician giving the unwashed ignorant masses what they want to hear and qualifying the biggest lie ever perpetrated against the people of this world. All religions are man made imaginary farces to be used by those who would use religion to control the masses. And if you believe otherwise than I would ask you to please prove to me there is a God.

Is it any wonder that most doctors and scientists are atheists?

Yes, yes, yes!
Why do these religious figures get to participate in elections yet pay no taxes? They use all the same governmental services as the rest of us yet they get a free ride!
And with Bush it is more than a free ride, they actually get government assistance. Just like all the Republican corporate welfare laws.

Sure it back to God Jesus all over again, unfortunately it is so easy to get the cluless evengical sheep to get to polls ..why would they give it up..it has worked for so many years..
Last I heard that Senate requested details of the TV evengical shows for their books ..accounting etc ..That looney Benny Hinn (who cures people by touching them) pulls in 100 million a year ..unbelevable no wonder these Godly people wont let their act go & continue to squeeze the Jesus people & live the good life ...
Ever noticed that these TV evangicals Pat Roberston, Brother Paul, Oral Roberts, Doston &that fat Falwell..run family buisness their so called money making church machine is run by their sons & daughters - no outsiders allowed ..live in million $ masions, fly by private planes ..it is the God money buisness... Alas the sheep fall for it again & again ...
These are the hypocrites, liars & corrupt leaders that evengicals have ..Amen

unless you live in a place that's infested w/ these born again loonies like i do - think oral roberts - it's hard to understand just how depraved they are. they are filthy minded perverts who want to drag your children into a cult. they want to obsess on other people's sex lives, they hate anyone who isn't part of their pack, they think they're the chosen and seek material wealth. that's huckabee to the core.

If he gets elected, we'll probably see a push for mandatory Bible study class in public schools. I mean, a little Jesus each day can't hurt kids, right? Even Muslim and Jewish kids need their daily fix of Jesus, right?

I hope this whole self-righteous "I don't need to know the facts, I have my Bible" leadership gets stopped dead in its tracks. Huck has some witty comebacks, but witty comebacks won't fix Pakistan.

Where do they find all the dumb people to go along with this nonsense? It astonishes me that there are enough Huck supporters to fill a van. I thought repub voters would be ready to take a step UP from bush, not six steps down. Good grief!

Nobody's losing their tax exempt status by next week. It's very easy to get around these laws anyway.

Huckabee's Iowa victory is going to be very short lived. He will be crushed in New Hampshire, Wyoming, Michigan and Nevada before he sees another probable victory in SCarolina. Florida is a maybe for him but Reverend Huckabee is going down big on Feb 5th.

Revival Tent Republicans only play well in the South, the Bible Belt states and Utah. They are a regional acquired taste that was the biggest mistake that Reagan ever made. These people were supposed to vote and then be locked back up in the attic. Bush43 not only let them out, he gave them a hot line, pandered to their every desire and gave them favored status over the rest of the GOP. The Reagan coalition is over.

Huckabee will never win the nomination. However Dobson and his minions could force the GOP powers to make him the VeeP candidate. This will result in one of the most stunning electoral losses in history.

Well I think it is long since past that churches are tax exempt. In my opinion if the churches wnat to play politics they need to be taxed the same as the rest of us. If they want to maintain their tax exempt status then they should stick to religious things, and taking care of the poo, and stay out of politics. The choice in my opinion is theirs to make, but I'm sick of these so called religious organizations politicizing and trying to interject their beliefs in the day to day running of this country.
