So, as you might have heard, Time Magazine's gain became the New York Times' loss this week, as the Grey Lady, proving it's learned absolutely nothing from the Judith Miller years, handed some of its valuable op-ed column inches to neocon nincompoop Bill Kristol.

Kristol has a track record that stands as a monument to journalism's version of the Peter Principle: blunder your way to a cushy gig at the Paper of Record.

Let's not forget that the NYT was an instrumental cheerleader for the war in Iraq. We shouldn't be acting as if we are losing a liberal institution here to the neo-craps. Quit listening and believing Bill o Lielly that the NYT is a liberal rag. That they give this absolute PNAC loser a job is proof that they are just as much a tool as Fox news.

The real question is what is the future of Neocons given the current state of affairs in the world.

It will be a long time before we can either afford or gather the political will to 'liberate' other countries from their dictators. What we need are neo-neo-cons, the kind that advocates active promotion of democracy abroad through less violent means than outright invasion.

Or would it be better just to leave everybody alone to conduct their own affairs as they see fit? Naw, that would be too easy and needless to say, boring.

NYT readers will begin writing a surge of editorial responses to his articles calling him out as the delusional pussy he is. Within a year and 1/2, he'll resign in disgrace.

Wow. I can't believe he brings up Chile and the Philippines.

What this country needs in a giant delete bucket for screw-ups and mistakes. You could prime the bucket with Rove, De Lay, Podhoretz, Abramoff, Pearl, Norquist, Rush, Kristol and Bush/Cheney. These people have voluntarily abandoned The Constitution of the United States, they have decided to leave the group “we the people”And the we least should do is to close the door behind them so they never inflict damage on this country again.
