Huckabee

Washington Post:

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, locked in a tight GOP race in Iowa, said Sunday he would seek to punish doctors who took money to provide abortions to women if he succeeded in outlawing the procedure, as he has long advocated.

"I think if a doctor knowingly took the life of an unborn child for money, and that's why he was doing it, yeah, I think you would, you would find some way to sanction that doctor," Huckabee said during an appearance on NBC's Meet the Press. "I don't know that you'd put him in prison, but there's something to me untoward about a person who has committed himself to healing people and to making people alive who would take money to take an innocent life and to make that life dead."

Hm.

Read "American Fascists" by Chris Hedges (2007).

All you need to know about Dominionists and their plans to tear up the US Constitution.

And it has JUST begun.

Time to Daylight them.

Ugh.

Good article by Chris Hedges on Huckleberry.
http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/20071223_the_evangelical_rebellion/

He may manage to split the Repubs.

But also Huck has a "populist" message that has
brought rebukes by the likes of Gorge at Will
http://www.whittierdailynews.com/opinions/ci_7762832 and Rich Boy Lowry.

Suppose science were able to detect this "nature VS nurture" smoking gun IN UTERO. Would the hateful, homophobic Huckabee shoot down his anti-abortion agenda, to SANCTIMONIOUSLY sacrifice the GLBT embryos, for the "betterment" of society (just as the Catholic Dioceses sacrificed the sexually-abused altar boys, for the "betterment" of the church)?

Abstinence makes the church grow fondlers!

Against abortion? Don't have one!

You're pro-life? That's fine. Now get one, and stay out of mine!

May the fetus you save be gay!

Against gay marriage? Don't marry one!

Stay safe, healthy and happy,
Love, Loretta

Let's see. Huckleberry thinks that it is just possible to be genetically preprogrammed (born) to be sexually stimulated by their own gender, but Huck thinks people born that way should disavow their God given characteristic and "choose" to be sexually stimulated by the opposite gender.
For, among other reasons, that God says, being sexually attracted to your own gender is a sin.

Isn't that a little like saying a person who is genetically preprogrammed by God to have no vision should choose to have vision? And if they do not so choose they are living in a state of mortal sin?

Huckleberry believes is a pretty twisted kind of God, doesn’t he?

Even if we follow this twisted and tortured logic we then are forced to ask, "If it is a choice to be gay, who gets to decide if that is a good choice or a bad one and then what do they get to do about it once its agreed that choosing to be gay is wrong...?" Huckabee is such a douchebag. Trying to make an argument out of sanctioning homosexuality is about as stupid as most things I have heard from the majority of potential presidential contenders.
What a goon.... the best we can hope for is that the GOP decides to take him on because they don't have a contender that isn't a religious nutjob and that he gets clobbered in the 2008 Presidential election by a Dem other than Hillary...

Why is it that when people believe in UFOs, a large part of society considers them to be mentally deranged, but at the same time, if you believe in most of the crap that Huckabee believes in, you are considered to be godly? Maybe there is a fine line between religiosity and mental illness.

Acting?

So this is all about acting.

So is it a choice to act religious like the Huckster.

I have friends that are gay and not acting gay.

Even more so than the Huckster acts religious.

Huckabee: "It's a choice to act gay."

Huck went on to inform his listeners that people who believe in absurd, moth-eaten religious dogma are "born that way."

If you saw Huckabee's sons...there couldn't be a better ad to keep abortions LEGAL, hell maybe we should pay women named Huckabee to have abortions for every litter of psychos, who torture and murder sick dogs.

To tie his enviromental program to the self abortion plank, MotherHucker endorses a 10 cent deposit on used coathangrs.

So anyway, this old drunk is wandering around and comes upon a crowd performing baptisms in the local stream, he asks "What going on?", the preacher comes to him and says "Have your found Jesus?", well, no was the drunks reply, "Step into the water, and you'll find Jesus" The preacher grabs the man plunging him under the water, "Have you found Jesus"..well no, the drunk responds, wherein the preacher pushes the drunken man under again, " Now have you found Jesus"...."No, are you sure you lost him in this spot?"

It's astounding that anyone, even the dumbest hick bible thumper available, would seriously consider Huckabee for anything more than garbage collector.

So the Huckster is so against abortions that he has how many adopted children?

Or did his kids eat them, sure looks that way.
