In light of FOX News' planned cut-off of Republican Ron Paul from an upcoming presidential primary campaign debate, New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Fergus Cullen released the following statement regarding weekend debates:

"Limiting the number of candidates who are invited to participate in debates is not consistent with the tradition of the first in the nation primary. The level playing field requires that all serious candidates be given an equal opportunity to participate - not just a select few determined by the media prior to any votes being cast.

"Therefore, the New Hampshire Republican Party calls upon all media organizations planning pre-primary debates or forums for both parties to include all recognized major candidates in their events.

"The New Hampshire Republican Party has notified FOX News of our position, and we are in ongoing discussions with FOX News about having as many candidates as possible participate in the forum scheduled for January 6."

UPDATE: Ron Paul rips into Fox News.

Bye bye Grampa.
Back in your hole, Alan Keyes.

But they will stay in to the bitter end, whenever that is.

Neo-GOP - Romney/Bush '08 (that's Jebbie)
American Christian Homeland Party - Huckabee/Tancredo '08
Libertarian Party - Paul/Ron '08
NYC Party - Giuliani/Robertson '07
War Party - McBush/McCain '06
Grampa Party - Thompson/Tancredo '07
GOP Party - Keyes/Tancredo '00

Ugh.

Normally I wouldn't waste my time commenting about racist idiotic Fox "News". But this is so f****d up I'll my an exception.

First define "serious candidate". FYI: Did you know that there are TEN other neocon candidates? All of them have fufilled the signup requirements and are seriously campaigning. Does this mean that they're "serious" or not? Ron Paul is a hypocritical Libertarian that refuses to run as what he really is. Why? Because he knows he has no chance in hell of winning as a Libertarian. So instead he's wasting people's time and money in this race. Did you know he wants to legalize drugs? Doesn't that slightly contradict "neocon family values"? But nobody gives a s**t about reality.

Does this mean that Fox will put ALL of the candidates on? And what about Kucinich? He's the ONLY Democrat that's consistently told the truth. And what does the MSM do? Censor and work like hell to destroy him. How come nobody's bitching about that? Because he's a short, dorky looking dude with a bae wife. And that's a threat to the power elite. Just like having a person of color is a threat to them.

Get f*****g real people.

Despite the fact that Dr. Ron Paul in to governing what Christian Science is to medicine, he's right on the money. Fox is scared shitless of him, and we're talking rather substantial amounts of shit here, folks.

WHICH BY THE WAY IS PUTTING IT LIGHTLY.

I don't have a clue why some people (especially Democrats) are so hot to trot over Ron Paul???? He is a libertarian from the word go. They are worse than Republican's in being right wing lunatic nut cases. They live out there in La-La Land somewhere with every other fringe groups in this country. His policies he apparently plans on implementing are totally unrealistic. There is no way he is going to do all he claims he is going to do. The Congress and Senate will not allow him to close the Federal Reserve or abandon Iraq. So I am not really sure what all the 'hoopla' is about when it comes to him? Maybe it's wishful thinking on his supporters part. The knight in shiny armor who rescues the damsel in distress syndrome. Other than just another 'Right wing Snow Job in the making'! You think Bush is bad, wait until Ron Paul gets in. I have listened to him before and he is just like the typical right wing Republican. There isn't enough difference to bother mentioning.

whatever your opinion is on ron paul, you have to admit that he's a phenomenon. his detractors become rabid w/ fear and loathing; his supporters go up in flames at any attack on his positions. if nothing else, he's raised the adrenaline - and sometimes the testoserone - level of a lot of people.

Fake News is part of the "dirty tricks" wing of the GOP. As such, they are part of the problem in America, not the solution.

Ron kicks ass, people better wake up because the rest are a waste of time. Its too bad for Gravel and Kucinich, they are great. Kucinich and Paul are good friends Kucinich wants Paul to be in his campaign (His Vice) but they are politically different.

Well, I never thought I'd say this...but...New Hampshire's Repuke leadership just showed itself to be more democratic in principle than Iowa's Dem leadership.

Barring Kucinich and Gravel from the last debates held before the Iowa caucus was complete horseshit, plain and simple.
