The presidential candidates spent the last Sunday before the Iowa caucuses attending church services and staging big rallies to make last-minutes appeals as new polls suggested tightening races in both the Democratic and Republican fields.

With three Democrats scrambling for the lead in Iowa, which holds its caucuses on Thursday, the candidates tried to paint their opponents as flawed for the challenges facing the nation.

The Real Gamble Is following the advice of a few of the HuffPost bloggers who tell us to vote for Obama based on his "face" or his racial "identity".

Easy on Barack, enough of that talk about the White House turning into an old peoples home!

A lot of people have become addicted to the tried and failed recipe, they need their fix!
The truth is causing them a lot of pain, tears and gnashing of teeth at the very thought!
You can't expect the addicted to put America first, why, the very thought is un-American!
As for you, well I mean you have far too many good ideas for rebuilding the USA's demolished reputation, we can't have you tarnishing the tough guy, devil may care, outlaw image that George W. and Co have so carefully cultivated these past few years, I mean, we need someone who has experience in maintaining the status quo, one who knows the difference between a toasted or grilled sandwich! I really don't think that is you dear boy! So, stand aside, make way for the chosen one, you know that decision has already been made, after all, you cannot seriously expect someone, I'll be metaphorically diplomatic, so YOUNG to be chosen! After all this is America, it lags dreadfully behind Europe!

Obama's "same old folks" song is the sort of twisted logic that should disqualify him. He's using the back door to admit he doesn't know much about Washington, foreign policy, how to get things done, or much of anything else.

Personally, I will not vote for someone who hasn't even been a former Governor, and who uses his first term as a U.S. Senator to run for the Presidency instead of first learning how to be a Senator.

I don't know who Obama is talking about, but almost everyone, Republican and Democrat, and who is running close to the top of their respective party campaigns, has more relevant experience than Obama.

O thinks that if he and his people are in charge, Big government will work. They are of the management guru type you saw on the movie "Office Space."

But like Tom Paine, I'm distrustful of government and think 'tis but a necessary evil, so the less the better.

I watched Obama's appearance on Meet the Press with Tim Russert this weekend and I was amazed at how composed, articulate and clear he was when answering Russert's questions. His performance in the interview was probably one of the best performances I have ever seen on Meet the Press, and I never got the impression that he was avoiding a question or gave a pandering response. I have to say I was very impressed by Obama this weekend.

Obama is a Lieberman "Democrat"!

Obama's eager choice for a "mentor" in the senate was Joe Lieberman, How can I possibly trust Obama, knowing that?

Kucinich is the only candidate consistently working for the 98% of the American people. He has proven as mayor that he is not for sale.

Kucinich is so feared by the MSM that his impeachment of Cheney got zero headlines. Russert was tasked with "Moon beaming" Kucinich, and finally Kucinich was just excluded from the debates, since he was getting huge applause for impeaching Cheney.

Google Kucinich Wins

We can hope HRC will be different then the face she presents to win, but it rarely turns out that way.

Strength Through Peace!

Kucinich!

Studs Terkel writes a great article about Kucinich:

Who are the top three candidates?

We don't really know.

Great link on problems with modern phone polling.

I can't decide who is more ferocious, Harry Reid, or Obama, a very tough call.

Obama is correct. The continuation of the military, corporate state will only lead to more imperialism abroad, and fascism at home.

In that case I recommend voting for Kucinich or Edwards.

Hillary Clinton is hardly the "same old folks". That would be Giuliani or Huckabee or any other GOP contender. Any Democrat is going to be a huge, positive change for this country. Having said that, we might as well nominate one who can actually win, and won't be "learning as they go", we have already had that kind of inexperienced President, which is why Obama shouldn't get the vote.

Should Mrs. Clinton win the nomination it will mean that a majority of democrats agree with the Bush-Clinton foreign policy and that we need not change it at all.

Obama is sinking his own candidacy by shooting off his mouth nonstop. Too bad for Obama, the old are the one who do a lot of thinking while the young sit down in the corner hoping and dreaming.

Oddly enough, advisers of Obama are not high school students. He hates old folks.

OBAMA IS AN EMPTY SUIT! YOUNG, YOUNG, DUMB AND FULL OF CUM!!
