COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa -- Down more than 10 points in the polls here only weeks ago, Mitt Romney appears to be surging back days before Iowans head to their caucuses.

Two polls released over the weekend showed Romney ahead of rival Mike Huckabee by several points, while another survey out Sunday has Romney in a statistical tie with the former Arkansas governor.

That's a far cry from early November, when a surging Huckabee took the front-runner mantle from Romney and never looked back. While Iowa's caucuses -- the first test of the presidential contest - are difficult to poll given only a small percentage of the state actually turns out for the caucus meetings, the polls may indicate a change in attitudes in Iowa.

Looks like the Iowans are not as easily fooled as the old Huckster thought. He thought he could flash "christian leader" on the screen and that would do the trick. The very discerning and diligent voters of Massachusetts put Romney in there as govenor because they believed he was the best executive to run the State. Running a state that large is a lot different then being a participant in the endless blather of the Senate, where, by the way, most of these senators have been running for president for years and no one even misses them.

Funny the three times married drag queen who's kids won't be seen with him...is the least STRANGE...ok, admittedly the friend/business associate with 16 indictments and scarey mistress/wife Judith does cause some pause.

A fine example of really bad use of polls in political coverage. Notice that nowhere in the entire coverage is the term margin of error used! The entire 'surge' could simply be a variation withing the margin of error!
