Politico:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was praised in the wake of the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto for demonstrating her command of the players and the issues at stake in Pakistan, even as another candidate, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, was criticized for stumbling over details.

But in two confident television appearances, on CNN and ABC, Clinton made an elementary error about Pakistani politics: She described President Pervez Musharraf as a "candidate" who would be "on the ballot."

In fact, Musharraf was reelected to the presidency in October. The upcoming elections are for parliament, and while Musharraf's party will be facing off against opposition parties, the president himself is not a candidate.

I see no reason why this mistake should prevent us from voting for Hillary as Prime Minister of the US when those elections come rolling around.

In your opinion was Hillary referring to Musharraf's party or to Musharraf himself being on the ballot?

Some 236 HuffPost bloggers posted comments a week or so ago to a post touting the Web Site's new features.

In my comment to that post, I expressed concern about the HuffPost's noticeable descent into the ethics and style of supermarket tabloids. I mentioned specifically the sleazey tabloid approach in so many articles, misleading headlines, and bias in the use of photos.

I concluded that if the Huffington Post chose not to eliminate the most offensive stuff I feared the site would lose credibility overall.

I was not alone. I just reviewed all of the comments to that post and identified about 50 of the 236 that expressed similar or related concerns; that's about 1/4 of the total number.

We're all aware the HuffPost supports Obama, so we shouldn't be surprised that it's slanted accordingly. But the trashing of Hillary Clinton has been so over the top for weeks on end that at this point nothing published in the HuffPost about Hillary Clinton or her campaign has any credibility for thoughtful readers.

what bothers me is despite increased crowds and more enthuasism, Biden doesn't appear to be moving in the polls even slightly. Most polls have him in fifth. In a sane world he would win the nomination easily, as no others even come close to measuring up to him, and what he could do for this country. I hope you are right , that would be great a third ,or even a strong fourth would give him some much needed momentum heading into New Hampshire.

Do any of you biden people really think that there is any chance that Joe will make a good showing on thursday? I am so disgusted over the fact that i dont see how he will.

i just read this poll on cnn that asked who had the most experience.
Clinton-45%
obama-16%
Edwards-16%
Biden-9%
wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah clinton beating biden 5-1, and edwards and obama with their almost no experience also beating joe. It just shows the misconceptions and completely wrong reasons people get elected.

This post forgot to mention it was Joe Biden on his campaign speech today in Iowa talking about errors some candidates had made on Iraq. Including Republicans, one who wanted to send Dick Cheney to Iraq.

Please give credit where credit it due to Joe Biden for understanding the situation in Iraq and being able to articulate it to everyone who listens. Obviously the author of this article listened to Joe Biden who didn't name Clinton at all, but was refering to Huckabee. Biden hasn't attacked a fellow Democrat, only the Republican rivals who will be faced in the general election.

Biden was trying to make a closing argument as to why he should be President and not someone who in the wake of this tragedy makes foolish comments or comments that didn't even refer to Pakistan but to personal political gains, or candidates that no world leader called to discuss the situation with. Everyone was on the phone to Biden, including the media.

It is unfortanate that Biden explains the situation and others use his comments without giving him credit.

Biden for President in November of 2008.

When are you Liberals that say bad thing about Hillary going to face the fact you will still vote for her. You are lap dogs to your dogma. You do not have any control over a Democrat in office. They tell you what you what to hear and you vote for them , then they do not do as they said they would do and the next time they are up YOU VOTE FOR THEM AGAIN.

Democrat leaders know this. They know you will never send a message to a Democrat and vote them out of office for not doing your bidding.

Democrat leader have successfully conned you moonbats into the same position the African Americans have been in since Democrats put them back on the plantation in the late sixties with promises of assistance. Did the Democrat leaders in Congress do anything you elected them to do? NO. Will you reelect them? YES.

You guys are such chumps. When our guys don’t do what we send them to do we vote them out of office the very next cycle. Ask Bush 1, Newt, DeLay….they all broke their promises and we voted them out.

Democrat leader have now put the whole Democrat population, not just the African Americans on the plantation. And you, keep reminding us are the Intellectual Elites, will continue to vote to keep yourselves on the plantation.

If you seriously believe Clinton is the right person for the job you owe to yourself to watch this movie, it's free to watch and the information is priceless. Not watching would mean you really do not care one way or the other and if that's the case then do not acted surprised when things go to hell.
