Hillary Clinton And Mitt Romney

CNN:

With two days to go until the Iowa caucuses, a new CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll out Tuesday shows both the Democratic and Republican presidential nomination races tied at the top.

But with a quarter of all Democratic voters and nearly half of all Republican voters still making up their minds at this late stage, almost anything can happen Thursday night in the first contest for the White House.

Among Democrats, Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York wins the most support, with 33 percent of likely Democratic caucus-goers backing Clinton and 31 percent supporting Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois. But taking into account the survey's sampling error of 4.5 percentage points in the Democratic race, the race is virtually tied.

Former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina is in third place in the poll at 22 percent.

Clinton and Obama both gained 3 points since the last CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll in mid December, with Edwards dropping 4 points.

We will know Thursday. I can wait. These polls are and have been unreliable. I think people are and have been VERY undecided. I can live with the top three Democrats. The entire Republican ticket is a joke. Vote for them and you get a permeant WAR that will not end in our life time.

No, the Democrats are not examples of great courage, but it's an easy choice for me.

Say no to fascism in 08!

PS: Huffington Post is pushing for Obama to be the choice. So, naturally they would play up the poll that favors Obama... Let's see what happens.

Crooks from CNN are delicate operators. The problem is not with polling itself, the problem is with the media pushing their candidates in every possible way. They will always adapt and come up with new tools, as needed.

Websites have different poll numbers. One Obama is ahead, the next one he's second. It's the same way with Romney & Huckabee. My guess it's too close to call. I do hope Obama & Romney wins.

- InsiderAdvantage/Majority Opinion Poll: Clinton and Edwards in Virtual Tie in Iowa

- Reallocated Numbers Based on Second Preferences Gives Edwards A Solid Lead

Clinton 30%
Edwards 29%
Obama 22%

Using the reallocation methodology InsiderAdvantage used in 2004 " which correctly indicated a fairly comfortable win for John Kerry " our new poll reveals that, if the caucuses were held today, the reallocated final outcome would be:

Edwards: 41%
Clinton: 34%
Obama: 25%

A *CNN* Poll? Who would pay any attention to that? I can hardly think of a poll source more likely to be biased towards Hillary.

Who are the top three candidates?

We don't really know.

Kucinich trounced everyone in the two largest polls for far: the DFA and the independents polls.

The banner headline on this site right now reads: "New Des Moines Register Poll: Obama Widens Lead Over Clinton." Both polls can't be right. Perhaps neither is?

Why isn't this poll at the headline position on HuffPost? Maybe because it doesn't fit in with the Post's pro-Obama spin.

Hopefully, Iowa caucus votres are not as stupid as CNN judges them to be. The manipulation going on by the MSM has lost all traces of subtle and is now a blatant attempt to brainwash the electorate-on both sides of the political spectrum.
When Romney's status as front runner is in doubt due to Huckabee's surging, then start with the smears against Huckabee-religious fanatic, friend to rapists, etc., and then start with "Romney regaining momentum"...
When Hillary's victory appears to be in doubt, nothing works to restore it like a procrustean poll. This should be called the "Hillary front runner/holding on to lead at all costs/100% of Hillary supporters still support Hillary as front runner poll"...
Those talking heads who pass themselves off as spokespersons for the "conventional wisdom" are really in need of an emetic; and the public who base their decisions on this MSM tripe need a grain of salt.

Who cares who wins in Iowa. Except for bragging points this means nothin'.

Entire population of Iowa is smaller than population of illegals in San Diego.

Wow! It's bad enough to put up with bias in the mainstream media, but Huffpo is getting more and more blatant in its anti-Hillary stance. The poll showing Obama ahead gets the big headline with a much smaller lead to the article about the Cnn poll showing Hillary in the lead.
If I wanted bias, I would go to Fox News. For a liberal sight to engage in this kind of spin is self destructive.
And, no, I would not be happier to see the headlines reversed. Unlike Republicans we don't need you to try to think for us!!
