MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Ralph Nader unleashed on Hillary Rodham Clinton Monday - criticizing her for being soft on defense spending and a chum of big business - and expressed his strong support for John Edwards.

In an 11th hour effort to encourage liberal Iowans to "recognize" Edwards by "giving him a victory," the activist and former presidential contender said in an interview that Clinton will "pander to corporate interest groups" if elected.

Nader specifically accused Clinton of failing to challenge military spending because "she is a woman who doesn't want to be labeled as soft on defense and she doesn't want to be shown as taking on big business."

Mr. Nader, I know it is almost passe to consider you the sole arrogant, self-serving reason our country has gone straight to hell, but I just can't help it. We'd have a President Gore if not for you, sir, and I can only imagine that haunts you every night as you attempt to sleep. May you never sleep, sir.

Edwards already has a lot of endorsements; all of them better than Ralph Nader.

John Edward to his wife, "Honey, who invited this skunk to our garden party"?
Eliz, "I've been asking myself the same question honey, do you know his name, John? I don't like the way he eating up all our food and grabbing the attention of our guest."
"His name is Ralph Nader."
Eliz, "Quick honey do something, some of the guest are leaving, he's upsetting our party."

To hell with Nader and the Greens. These idiots delivered the US into the hands of fascists. Nader's holier-than-thou destructiveness is on a par with Bush's. According to him, if the world won't listen to St. Ralph, it deserves to be destroyed. He's a verminous little creep.

Nadir is the worst thing to happen to America in living memory.
A know-it-all so full of himself he couldn't see how his stupid campaign in 2000 would ruin this country by giving it to that fascist chimpanzee.

I blush and thrash every time I hear that fucker's name!

these blogs are a wealth of information, from all angles. Seems to me that if one is smart one would abstain from voting! We can't tell what is the truth and in the end it does not matter how we vote - ergo DO NOT VOTE!

Thanks for your two cents Ralph but you are still the egocentric ass-hole who gave us Bush and the destruction of our country. So go fuck yourself…

Ralph is a great man. All those back-biting Dems who should have been angry with election fraud, not Ralph, owe Ralph an apology. Get your facts straight people and act appropriately, STOP ELECTION FRAUD! Thank You Ralph and EDWARDS 08!

Not surprisingly Huffpost only printed Nader's criticism of Clinton.

Nader has also criticized Barack Obama - “…because he doesn‘t have the agenda..."

Nader also notes that Obama is “extremely conciliatory to concentrated power and big business”.

More fair and balanced reporting from HuffPo.

Watch Edwards' numbers plumet in the next couple of days. Nader, as always, picks the right cause to champion at exactly the wrong time.

Ralph, god love him, just couldn't contain himself at seeing his portrait "An Unreasonable Man" plastered all over cable last month and now, with the annointing of Peggy Noonan, Edwards (who could be described more accurately as a man with nothing left to loose) will have the conflation added to his stature.

It's especially sad because Edwards' cause to guillotine special interests is near and dear to every truly liberal heart. But, nobody's buying beheadings this season. Bush the bloody is strictly out of fashion.

Did Ralph really think he was going to draw supporters of Hillary to Edwards camp by this association?

A deeper question might be: Is it actually ironic that a man who understands so much about true democracy knows so little about American politics?

Nader is full of crap, this is the man that criticized Al Gore and gave the WH to Bush.

Nader has ZERO credibility, he's full of it and some. I blame Nader for Bush, I blame Nader for losing our rights to privacy guaranteed in the constitution. I blame Nader for turning our country into a shithouse.

The Green Party is SHIT!

There are 12,000 lawyers in San Diego County. Only 10 or 15 law firms will take medical malpractice cases for plaintiffs. Only when there are large wage losses involved will the lawyers consider such cases.

I spent 4 years on a case recently. We advanced over 100,000 for expert witnesses. The Arbitration panel awarded damages but found the plaintiff 90% at fault. Offsetting her workers compensation benefits, she netted $60,000. Her left will be amputated after ten operations have failed to repair the damage to her knee that the Nurse practitioner failed to diagnose.

My fee is $45,000.

Edwards is a great lawyer and understands the common person's problem. Hillary has spent too much time trying to hide her records from the Rose Law Firm in the closet or whatever and in representing WalMart, trying to bust unions and outsource manufacturing jobs to China with NAFTA and get vertical monopolies. Obama is corporate and a federal housing lawyer with some questionable dealings according to Judicial Watch.

Reining in the corporate abuses will take decisive action by a consumer advocate, not a compromising corporate lawyer or a housing advocate.

Nader's contention that the two major parties were equally bad makes any statement of his, irrelevant. Many Dems may be cowardly, unprincipled, and corrupt, but the GOP is exponentially worse. Certainly among the '08 candidates, ANY Dem is better than ANY GOPer.

Of the factors that made the stealing of the 2000 election possible, Nader is front and center with Sandra Day O'Connor as the two people most responsible for that putsch. Gore's poor campaign, abdication of the MSM, ignorance of the populace, filthy FOX "News" etc., made the the numbers close enough to pull off the cheat enabled by the corruption of the Supreme Court.

Perhaps there is a toxic dump somewhere to create the Bizarro version of Mount Rushmore where previously respected Americans can be forever enshrined. My only question is the fourth eminence to join Nader, O'Connor and Colin Powell.

America is gravely wounded and dragging down the planet with it. Thanks, Ralph...
