Nader Backs Edwards

MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Ralph Nader unleashed on Hillary Rodham Clinton Monday - criticizing her for being soft on defense spending and a chum of big business - and expressed his strong support for John Edwards.

In an 11th hour effort to encourage liberal Iowans to "recognize" Edwards by "giving him a victory," the activist and former presidential contender said in an interview that Clinton will "pander to corporate interest groups" if elected.

Nader specifically accused Clinton of failing to challenge military spending because "she is a woman who doesn't want to be labeled as soft on defense and she doesn't want to be shown as taking on big business."

First of all, a Democrat WILL BE our next president. I will vote for that Democrat no matter who he/she will be. However, the best thing that could happen to the Democratic party is for someone other than Clinton to win in Iowa. I say that, because the middle ground that the Clintons are targeting is not the where the majority of today's Democrats are. Today's Democrats, as a result of the damage done by extreme right wing elements within the Republican party, is more left leaning that during Bill Clinton's presidency. We want corporations to answer to the priorities and welfare of our society as a whole, and not be at the mercy of their greedy and mercenary anti-social elitist profiteering. We need to make every Democratic candidate realize that they MUST respond to and act on the needs of lower and middle class Americans more than to the avarice of those who have more than everyone else, but still DEMAND MORE for themselves, while the majority of Americans are stuggling to lead modestly successful lives.

In his first run...he was in a statistical dead heat with Clinton and Bush about 8 months before the general election...before we found out that he was a nut.

Instead of still blaming Nader for having been a spoiler past elections, we should blame ourselves for not having demanded immediate investigations into the election fraud perpetrated by Republican operatives. Exit polls clearly showed that Kerry won in 2004 over Bush, but this story was barely mentioned in the mainstream media. Ralph Nader and John Edwards were leading a procession of cars to the Edwards camp, they looked in the rearview mirror and saw no other cars behind him. They pulled over on the highway and waited for the procession to catch up with him. Word has it that he’s been at the truck stop for many hours and the only people waving at them are hookers.
Ron Paul has also been sighted in the area and he was surrounded by many cars. Could this be the procession that Ralph Nader was suppose to be leading.

Will Ralph Nader and John Edwards get their followers back, or will they end up with the hookers? Stay tuned for the final outcome.

Hillary is a Republican. NAFTA and outsourcing of jobs is the key. Obama is all about NAFTA, too. Obama wants tort reform. There are only 1,071 verdicts against doctors in California in 2006. The most that you can get for pain and suffering is $250,000 and that has not been raised since 1975. You lose an eye, you get a maximum of $250,000 before you pay costs and your lawyer - an average net of about $130,000 for your eye!!!!!!

The number of verdicts against physicians has declined nationwide and in California since 1991. A crisis? California malpractice insurers pay out only 38 cents on the premium dollar, according to the Los Angeles Times on Saturday. The insures keep over 60% of every premium dollar!!!!!

Edwards and Nader know this Hillary and Obama will give you more NAFTA and coziness with the MIC, Pharma and insurance. That's who supports them. They took the money, thank very much and they are bought and sold.
