San Fran Mayor Gavin Newsom Engaged To Actress Jennifer Siebel

According to the AP, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newson is engaged to actress Jennifer Siebel.

Mayor Gavin Newsom, 40, proposed to his girlfriend, actress Jennifer Siebel, 33, while they vacationed over the weekend in Hawaii, and she accepted, said Stanlee Gatti, a friend of the couple who spoke with the mayor after he proposed.

A date has not been set, Gatti said.

It would be the first marriage for Siebel, 33, and the second for Newsom, whose four-year marriage to Kimberly Guilfoyle ended in divorce in March 2006.

The two were introduced by mutual friends in October 2006. Siebel, who lives in Los Angeles, stood by Newsom after he publicly admitted in February that he had a drinking problem and had had an affair with a former staff member's wife.

Siebel, who has a "recurring guest spot" on "Life" also has a very informative personal website. She has a long bio page on which she describes going to Stanford and wide-ranging activities.

Arts, politics, humanitarianism, the environment, poverty alleviation, global peace, homelessness, education, etc...they are all intertwined. Hollywood has a voice. It has a very powerful voice.

Makes sense he was AWOL during the whole Tiger incident. With all of the international focus on the City about what happened at the Zoo, it would have been nice to have the Mayor fielding questions and dealing with the fallout, instead of relying on the beleaguered Chief of Police and the the completely over his head, Zoo Administrator.

We all have our priorities in life I guess.

I think San Francisco has exactly the mayor it deserves. But I do hope that Newsom and Siebel have been to the spay / neuter clinic.
We definitely don't want those two reproducing.

I saw them on the beach at the Mauna Kea this past week. They never went in the water that I saw. She looks to have small, rather tasteful bust implants, has decent legs. His hair wasn't gelled and he looks 100% better with natural hair.

The only thing I don't like about him is that the homeless problem is this city has gotten worse. Considering how expensive rent and homes are here, we shouldn't have to walk out of our door in the morning and see used condoms and syringes, have all our trash thrown all over the street after they go through it and get nauseated from the smell of them camped out next door to us. This is in a neighborhood where you can't buy a tiny house for less than a million and where rents are higher than any city except NYC.

But I respect Newsom after the way he handled the scandal when his campaign manager's wife told him she had sex with him. I was under the impression that AA advises you to be honest and apologize to people as long as you don't hurt other people doing it. She could have just told her husband she wasn't faithful without giving details. She obviously is a vindictive, bitter woman who was hoping Newson would want something more serious with her.

He admited he had a problem and instead of going to a fancy rehab center, he went to a place with street addicts which is very unusual for a wealthy politician. I really respect him for that.

I happen to like Gavin Newsom. Who cares who his latest girlfriend may be or may not be, or what she may strive to be. What concerns me is the wildlife "management" outside Kenya. Shouldn't CULLING be replaced with what it really means? KILLING? There is too much killing of animals, as well as people. I am against any killing of any animals for any reason. (Right, I am a vegetarian) I happen to think more of animals than people, as they don't lie, cheat, etc. Fill in the rest of the human failings.
