Dennis Kucinich Ufo Returns

Wall Street Journal:

The 2008 presidential race has raised many questions about the candidates' personal histories. Will Barack Obama's past drug use preclude a White House future? Will Christian conservatives forgive Rudy Giuliani his two divorces? Will voters forgive Hillary Clinton for forgiving Bill?

And what exactly did Democratic candidate Dennis Kucinich see hovering above actress Shirley MacLaine's house 25 years ago?...

...Now, after keeping quiet about the incident for a quarter of a century, the two people who say they were at Mr. Kucinich's side that evening have come forward to describe an event which they say left them convinced that there's intelligent life in outer space.

why is huffpo following msm and publishing articles on the 'peace' candidates that have nothing to do with their policies?

frankly, I would expect more!

So Dennis is a nut for claiming he saw a UFO...But if you believe half the crap in the bible, you are godly. Can someone please explain this dichotomy?

Arriana - When did you and Rupert Murdoch become friends and decide to print the same trash.

Maybe you can ask him if you can borrow Fixed News' motto "Fair and UnBalanced"

First of all the people they interviewd for this article cannot describe what DK saw, felt, ect. They can only tell what happened to them individualy.

This is slime by association.

I thought you were better than that.

I expect more content from the Wall Street Journal on the day before the first primary.

Now that Murdoch owns their ass, I don't expect anything but more trash articles followed by a nice pencil sketch.

No person who sees an unidentified object, flying or not, wants anything less than a scientific, logical explanation of what it really is. Ask for proof of angels and you're branded a heathen. The country is upside down.

BEFORE WE LABEL MR. KUCINICH OR ANYONE ELSE "CRAZY" FOR SEEING A UFO, YOU SHOULD SEE THE DOCUMENTARY FILM TITLED "OUT OF THE BLUE, THE DEFINITIVE INVESTIGATION OF THE UFO PHENOMENON". IT JUST MAY CHANGE YOUR MIND.

BELOW IS ONE OF MANY CREDIBLE SITINGS AND TESTIMONIALS FROM THE FILM:
THE LARGEST UFO SITING TO DATE WAS RECORDED ON MARCH 13TH, 1997, WHERE THOUSANDS, INCLUDING THE GOVERNOR OF ARIZONA AND THE DEPUTY MAYOR OF PHOENIX, SEEN AND EVEN FILMED A MILE WIDE, TRIANGULAR OBJECT, SILENTLY FLYING HUNDREDS OF MILES ACROSS THE STATE OF ARIZONA, PARTS OF NEVADA AND NEW MEXICO. IT HAD FIVE LIGHTS WHICH WERE REPORTED TO BE APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET IN DIAMETER. THE OBJECT FLEW LOW AND SLOWLY, DIRECTLY OVER MANY HOMES AND WITNESSES. THE GOVERNOR OF ARIZONA, WHO HAPPENS TO BE A FORMER PILOT AND AIR FORCE OFFICER, AND DEPUTY MAYOR OF PHOENIX GOT NOWHERE WHEN THEY DEMANDED INFORMATION FROM THE MILITARY ABOUT THE INCIDENT. THIS SPECIFIC INCIDENT IS CALLED THE "PHOENIX LIGHTS".

CHECK OUT THE FILM BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THIS EXCITING INCIDENT AND MANY MORE COMPLETE WITH TESTIMONIALS FROM HIGH RANKING MILITARY PERSONNEL AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. THIS IS THE MOST CREDIBLE DOCUMENTARY TO DATE ON THIS SUBJECT. BE AS SKEPTICAL AS YOU WISH BUT DON'T EXPECT TO BE AFTER WATCHING IT. YOU CAN EVEN RENT THE FIRST EDITION OF THE FILM THROUGH BLOCKBUSTER.

The only real candidate who does not mask the issues in the usual political diatribe of all the others and the only thing HuffPo ever prints about Kucinich is the story of his UFO sighting. I suppose impeachment, withdrawing our troops from Iraq, and a "not for profit" universal health care system are issues that the Huffington Post deems to be less important and not worthy of print.

Actually, it was a pretty nice article. I just object to the timing and to the fact that it gives me that "here we go again" feeling. It is obvious that this is just one more attempt to make Dennis Kucinich look "silly" rather than talk about his politics. Why, oh why do I even bother coming back to HuffPost? It's very clear that they think they have the power and the authority to tell us who is worthy of our vote, and they've decided that Kucinich, Dodd, and Gravel aren't. Thinking back on the stories they've run, I don't remember seeing anything on Gravel, and maybe one story on Dodd during the FISA filabuster threat. But this is at least the third "story" on the Kucinich/UFO connection. You know, I can read the covers of the tabloids in the grocery checkout if I want to read about UFOs. I expect real and relevant news when I come here...guess not.

Do you think it's a coincidence that Kucinich supports the legalization of marijuana?

Also:

What's crazier:

A)Seeing a flying aircraft that you can't identify
B)Wanting to keep troops in Iraq until 2013!

If I must, I will ask for a write-in ballot, put Dennis Kucinich's name in the proper place, and be proud that I voted for the one and only person who had the status, intelligence and courage to start serious work on impeachment of this foul administration.
If this makes me a one-issue voter, so be it; that would put me in the same category as the DUPES who believed GWB was the best choice because he SAID he was a Christian.
But there's a big difference between me and them- I'm not stupid.

For gods sake leave him alone. Focus on his campaign issues if you want to criticize. They're trying to smear him. Typical mean-spirited neo-cons.

Mr. Kucinich has said very clearly that he saw some bizzarre unidentifiable flying objects on that occasion. And he has pointed out that "unidentified" means that he doesn't know what they were.

"Unidentified" is a standard English word that all journalists should understand, isn't it? But that's not as good a story as a candidate seeing space aliens, so supposed journalists talk about flying saucers and quote alien believers in every story about this, and conveniently leave out Mr. Kucinich's reasonable responses. No wonder he's stopped talking to reporters about it - they've proven that if they're on this story, they're not interested in responsible journalism.

This story is a perfect example of the media, including HuffPo, using this story to say that Kucinich is a crazy fringe person. He's never said that he'd seen space aliens, but that's what the media wants us to think he's said.

Shame on Huffpo for contributing to this kind of character assassination. Criticize Kucinich for his positions or his actual beliefs if you want, but don't lie about him.

Jesus F'ing Christ - Fire your friggin' editors Ariana.

There is so much good stuff about Dennis Kucinich that you could chose to cover,.... why is that the UFO comment is the ONLY thing you seem to be able to headline here?

Oh,... sorry,... forgot,.... you used to be a Progressive - Until you latched onto Obama.

Now you too have become part of the MSM problem.

Another cheap shot from the WSJ and what is more distressing is that HuffPo puts it on this site. When will HuffPo start podcasting Rush Limbaugh's radio show for us? Who the hecks side are they on here? Very disappointing.
