Eddie Murphy Wedding

People:

Any legality questions surrounding the New Year's Day wedding of Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds on a private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia are about to be properly addressed, their reps tell PEOPLE.

"As is typical when couples get married in foreign countries, a legal ceremony will take place when they return to the U.S.," says Edmonds's rep.

I have been a personal friend of Eddie Murphy for over twenty years and nobody in the public can understand what it is to be Eddie Murphy. Whe people and things are coming at you from all sides and you can't really judge who your real friends are because it seems everybody wants a piece of you or your fame.

Having an Eddie Murphy baby is like winning the lottery and if you are lucky to get Ed to marry you then you have really pulled the wool over his eyes. After Nicole there could be no other temporay subsitute. The rebounce never works in the long run.

Yes, other stars who are married has to handle the same types of pressure but being a black multi-multi millionaire in the United States can be an extremely lonely Island to live on even in Bora Bora.

I saw Scary Spice on the Norbit set when I was an extar for three weeks back in 2006 and I could just feel a coldness to her love for Eddie. She wwas a strong black woman leading the hands to the trailer of a man who just wanted to only believe in love and friendship again after the break up of his marriage.

Then out comes, "Eddie I'm pregnant." then the friendship lottery ticket was cashed in. I pray and hope Tracey doesn't hurt my friend - deep down he is really the nicest man I've ever met and I love him like a brother.

Murphy has just lost it.
His early success and money have caused him to lose whatever grounding it was that made him original. Now he is just a caricature of himself.
Like a country western singer in jeans playing the local saloons who finds himself with a hit recording and then on bad advice shows up on a Vegas stage with custom made white Levis.

What a scam. It could work better than a Prenup.
Marry someone in Bora Bora, dont let on that its not legal in the states. And down the road if they , or you, want out, its a clean break..

Well, nothing is a clean break. Somehow it will get nasty and someone gets really screwed over for the rest of their life. No one can seem to just agree that it isnt working, and leave content.

Hey Eddie,

Remember this:

EDDDEEEE! EDDDEEE WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY EDDEEEEEE! HALF EDDDEEEEE! HALF!!

Do try to keep this in mind because I guarantee you, you'll be hearing it in the not to distant future. Why not just move in together and have all the fun and when she becomes a little to possesive of your credit cards and ATM cards, and start demanding you put her in your movies, you can just change the locks and save...HALF EDDEEEEE! HALF EDDDDDEEEE!
