First it was Google co-sponsoring two YouTube presidential debates with CNN. And now it's Facebook co-sponsoring a debate this Saturday here in New Hampshire.

But while the YouTube/CNN debates were relatively inclusive, this week's Facebook/WMUR/ABC debate will be relatively exclusive. The reason for that is that a slew of candidates likely will be barred from participating, including Sen. Joe Biden, Sen. Chris Dodd, former Sen. Mike Gravel, Rep. Duncan Hunter, and Rep. Dennis Kucinich.

As Dodd and Biden have opted out of the race, Kucinich is the only one who'll be hurt by exclusion on the Democrat side. Gravel has been forgotten by everyone, it seems. But even when DK has been included he's been virtually ignored, with very little air time, so what does it matter ?

Being included would simply underline the indignity of it all for DK.

The Obama-haters/non-supporters continually excoriate the media for propping a few candidates and ignoring the "second-tier"...Well, I don't subscribe. As it basically dismisses the ability, talent, and message of a candidate like Obama. This intimates that the media is part of some vast right-wing conspiracy to manipulate/dupe the electorate into voting for Barack, thus greasing the skids for a Repub smackdown in the general. This flawed theory also allows racist to deflect their true racist thoughts, while maintaining their aryan superiority beliefs. No, it's simply inconceiveable that an unprivledged man of color could possibly out-think, out-lead or out-influence their euro-centric brethren. Well, Barack has not been the first person of color to make a WH run. When Jackson ran he received media cover out the wazoo, but he got creamed in Iowa, and he also resided next door (IL). JJ rec'd media attention because--though he talked funny--he was a proverbial quote machine. Similar situation with Sharpton. There's been more moderate blacks running also, but they never really got out of the starting gate. Why?

There's something very different and special about Barack, and people who can't or choose not to see it will not/cannot change the course of destiny. The young folk (98% white) in IA certainly saw it. Oprah, who had never immersed herself in politics, saw it. And too many others...So, keep being cynical, condescending and closed-minded if you think this attitude will ehlp move Anerica forward.

Now you can clearly see how it works in politics.
These so-called "debates" are useless. The Youtube debates were a complete joke. No one stays on point and all you hear is "I did this" or "I'm the only candidate that did that"... please, give us a break.

Facebook? Seriously? The MSM is pathetic in its attempt to capture the pulse of young voters.
Just like the Partisan puppets in Washington, they hear what is convenient and ignore any dissent.

Just look to the right side of this page...
Never before has anyone received so much support and contributions as Ron Paul. And they do everything they can to keep his name out of play. I see Gravel's name under related tags, there's Chris Dodd...Duncan Hunter's there...

Yeah, it's pretty clear what a joke this election is, same old crap, brought to you by
your sponsors... corporate america.

Pretty soon they troops are going to say "get your asses over here and fight for yourself".
This country shows support by spending more money on yellow ribbons to put on their gas guzzling SUVs than it does in their faith
of those leading this government.
Now how pathetic is that?

Hmmmn, dare I say it? Am I an idiot for doing it?

I'm not selling out my little corner the country. My vote goes to Ron Paul.

And this one finger salute goes to all you sheep following the Partisan puppets who lead you, nowhere.

Ron Paul - Live Free or Die

ABC might want to wait for actual votes being cast before excluding "second tier" candidates.

Obama makes a speech at the convention and get anointed next in line. It takes much more than that to convince me.
