Howard Dean

It was on the evening of the Iowa caucuses four years ago, on January 19, 2004, that Howard Dean gave what may be his most famous speech. After placing third to Kerry and Edwards, having led the state for months, he gave his concession speech to cheer supporters that ended with this:

Would the public be similarly bamboozled in '08? It seems that they are a helluva lot more people who are aware of MSM manipulations.
(I hope!)

Wow, I'll never get why this was so mocked by the talking heads in the mainstream media. He just looks pumped up and positive to me. There is nothing "crazy" here, unless you consider the ability to memorize the order of the caucuses crazy. Go, Dean!

So who is the biggest threat to the MSM this
time around? What will they do to break the
candidate?

Only a few hours until we know.

He failed to pace himself and ran out of steam so that his final Yahhhh! was weak rather than strong. For this he was castigated by an irresponsible MSM.

The MSM manipulated this moment to derail the Dean candidacy and protect their interests. The MSM was threatened by Dean, who promised to break apart the media monopoly and reduce their political power. So the scream clip was repeated over and over again and kept in the echo chamber for as long as possible. The american public, being the sheeple that they are, fell for it.

Its dangerous to threaten the MSM.

Why are we reporting a non story.Dean was swiftboated by having his scream re-broadcast nationwide with the background noise toned down to make him sound like an imbecile. They could do this trick to anybody. The only thing it proves is how fickle the public is to accept these tricks as fact and go on to elect a real imbecile that has trashed our country.Oops,I forgot he wasn't elected,he stole the election with the help of his criminal relatives and unsupreme court.

I remember watching Dean with my daughter the night of his yell before the talking heads crucified him.

We had a completely different reaction to the yell. We thought he was pumped and it pumped us up. Oh well.

This particular news clip of the Dean scream has to rank as one of the most cynically manipulated for partisan gain of any there have ever been. The sound was manipulated to enhance Dean's scream when people who were there in the audience said it was barely audible. The MSM pundits instead of calling it what it was, a passionate campaign moment, chose to label it as something appearing mentally unhinged. And the media ran it and ran it and ran it, night after night. Again, another case of the MSM acting as a king maker or breaker. (Isn't this one of the ten signs of fascism?)
