Bill Clinton voiced his abiding anger at the media's coverage of him and his wife in Durham, N.H., today, and suggested that media bias will force Clinton to go negative on Barack Obama....

..."Nobody would be happier to see all this go away than us. But you can't ask somebody who is at a breathtaking disadvantage in the information coming to the voters to ignore that disadvantage and basically agree to put bullets in their brains," he said.

Yeah, it's always somebody else's fault, eh, Bill? Never yours, or hers.

Schmucks. I wish I could prevent the Clintons from calling themselves Democrats. They have no idea how vanilla they are. They are the epitome of compromise, not a reasonable kind, but the kind that defeats and undermines itself by robbing itself of all meaning.

At the end of term, Bill Clinton could have pardoned anyone. He had so many options. He could have, for example, offered a pardon to the three West Memphis, Arkansas kids who were convicted of murder--and have been all but proven innocent by two documentaries that also point directly to the real killer. These boys were victims of prejudice and class hatred in a town where Atticus Finch would have trouble winning a case.

But did he do that? Did Clinton return to his roots and make a great, life-affirming gesture to save these wrongly sentenced boys from a horrible life in prison? NO.

Bill Clinton chose to pardon Marc Rich!

That says it all. The Clintons talk and talk, but when push comes to shove they jump into bed with the wealthy and the morally compromised, and ignore the needs of real people.

What is this guy talking about?

"But you can't ask somebody who is at a breathtaking disadvantage in the information coming to the voters to ignore that disadvantage and basically agree to put bullets in their brains,"

Bill is no longer relevant.

16 years out, and as much as I appreciated the leadership of Bill Clinton as it was, it occurs to me that we are being asked by Hillary and Bill Clinton to elect them as a two-headed president in the coming election. Her qualifications not withstanding, an whatever theymay be, she speaks of her independence and yet plays up Bill's support, and depends on him for his explanations to the electorate about her campaign.

In the end, Bill will not keep his hands of the wheel and let Hillary drive. Sorry Clintons, but I can not go for that.

ConcernAmerican LACKING FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE JIMMY CARTER'S PRESIDENCY was dominated by the IRAN HOSTAGE CRISIS, during which the United States struggled to rescue diplomats and American citizens held hostage in Tehran for 444 DAYS!

Hey Concern,

You left out the part where Reagan made an illegal and cynical deal with the Iranians to keep the captives hostage until ater he was elected. Small detail. Seemed important.

Poor Bill is blemishing his legacy by sticking with this hag. Her only positive aspect is that she was married to a president and was able to buy a senate seat in a state where she hadn't previously resided. She couldn't take care of Bubba, she can't take care of our constitution. You go negative when your positives are insignificant(see carl rove manipulation of the village idiot). I hope that she continues to spiral downward. She is the only candidate more vacuous than mitt.

Bill on going negative: media bias made her do it

In Your Opinion is Media Coverage More Negative towards Hillary Clinton than other Democratic Candidates?

When I listen to Obama, I hear nothing but vague ideals mentioned such as "change, new ideas, something different than the mainstream, fresh voices," yada yada yada. He has no, nada, zero particulars, nothing! So is it going negative to question his views on policy or just to insist he publicizes his views?

One thing I don't hear a lot about are his views on policy. What is his stand on Israel? How is he going to fund Universal Health care for everyone without cutting back on the quality of care and/or sacrificing research & development? If he cuts out taxes for 7 million seniors, how does this square with his belief that "everyone should pay their fair share," or does this only apply to corporations? How do you negotiate with terrorists? Why is he going to meet with our enemies, what does plan to offer and what does he plan to do next? I have a lot more questions that I hope will be answered prior to the election, because we need more in a President than a breath of fresh air.

Clinton will go negative because she has to. Likoe it or not, negative campaigning works. And in order for her to win, she'll do whatever is necessary. If she has to take the bark off Obama, so be it. It's like when Bush tore McCain a new on in 2000. When you need to do whatever it takes to win in politics, you do it.I would hope the Obama camp is prepared to hit her back. If they aren't, he doesn't deserve to win anyway. If I'm John Edwards, I stay on message and let the two of them knock each others brains out.

Yes -- "switch boat" him. Switch Obama's romantic storyline of dreams and love and triumph over the odds. Remind folks that "hope is the thing with feathers.

Attack Obama. Attack him mercilessly. Show the dreamers that when they wake up -- they'll going to have to face the G.O.P. crusaders who'll stop at nothing to keep hold of power.

On the press plane flying from Iowa to New Hampshire [this morning], our off-air reporter Eloise Harper reports, "Mark Penn admitted to knowing that the trend was shifting towards Obama this past week."

That means that at the very moment Penn was accusing the Des Moines Register of producing unreliable data, and saying it was Clinton who had the momentum, he knew otherwise.

Guess honesty is not really a quality the Clinton's are too concerned with.
