Chuck or Oprah. They each have a right to pull for the one they like but if someone that is trying to gain a position that will concern me starts parading the celebrities out to show how connected they are, they have pretty much lost my vote because to me these are the elites that may be trying to gain a hold on the one they stand behind.
Wonder if Chuck or Oprah want to give up the tax cuts w gave them?

Janet Huckabee seems to be overweight, as her husband once was. I predict she will emulate him and get into more babely shape. She once water-skiied the navigable length of some river which runs through Little Rock, and is an outdoors woman.

Living in Iowa, I had the misfortune to watch the Huckleberry speech with Chuck and Gena Norris grinning their giant white Hollywood teeth in the background. She looks like she had some bad plastic surgery-- or her ponytail was too tight.

If Gena Norris was "with" Mike Huckabee then it must have been really awkward when the two of them ran into Chuck Norris.

Come on, if Gena Norris and Mike Huckabee are *dating*, then *at best* this is pathetic tabloid journalism. If instead this is the kind of 'journalism' that exploits a meaningless coincidence for the sake of a sensational headline, then I might as well stick with the mainstream media.

The Huckabee candidacy has the potential to tear the strained "big tent" asunder.

The challenge Huckabee represents is reflected in his fights with the GOP's leading anti-tax organization, the Club for Growth, which the former Arkansas Governor has dismissed as the "Club for Greed."

An extended fight pitting Huckabee against another leading Republican candidate would very likely leave GOP with scars difficult to heal by November 2008.

Senator Joseph McCarthy, he of "57 communists in the Defense Department" fame. Go back, look at some photos of ol' Joltin' Joe back in his prime around 1950. The resemblance to Huckabee is truly scary. And Huckabee THINKS like McCarthy too, being your basic xenophobic paranoid....

So, others are also noticing this very strange situation that has been going on in the past and was blatantly obvious in Huckabees speech last night- in nearly every appearance there is Chuck Norris on Hucks right hand, and last night Norris' wifes face also beaming in the background. What was absent in this picture- Huckabees wife and children. Good God, what is this same picture all about?

While the other candidates wives, husbands, and children stood behind them in the various speeches, there once again was the Norris beaming face, almost resting on Hucks shoulder.

I don't get what image the Huckabee campaign is trying to make. And I surely hope they aren't trying to project an image of Christianity by all of this, because the image this creates in my mind is instead one of martial arts, fighting, and violence. This seems to me to be a contradictory message. Huckabee's wife should have been framed in that picture with him, and not the Norris's faces again. I'm truly confused by all of this, and just don't get it.
