Huckabee Chair Blasts Conservative Blogger For "Eavesdropping" On Conversation

In a testy exchange just after his candidate won Thursday's Iowa caucuses, Mike Huckabee's campaign chairman acknowledged discussing the potential Huckabee would "go negative" in South Carolina and boasting about onetime-frontrunner Rudy Giuliani's foundering campaign.

Ed Rollins, who ran Ronald Reagan's 1984 bid and recently joined Huckabee's campaign, was overheard discussing the Republican primary race as he lunched in Iowa Thursday. Amanda Carpenter reported what she had heard Rollins discuss, in a post at Townhall.com.

And now folks....lets get back to the huck and chuck show!!! That kung fu chuck and wife are on the stage with huckster shows me he has hopes of a big tv rerun show fan club backing him all the way to the white house. I had no idea texas ranger chuckie was such a hit in Iowa so what's next new hampshire? Do they also watch a lot of reruns during the winter storms? To me it would be like rudy having pamela anderson struting the stage with him but its all whoodoo and who cares if hukster has a man with a social problem in public talking and being overheard. Hmm, a Romney accuses the Huskster of being soft on crime. The Huckster responds with "I executed (did he really do it himself, did he enjoy it?) 12 men while I was Governor! How many did you execute?" My, my, isn't that a nice thing to be proud of, so Christian of him. And what about Wayne Dumond and his murderous, raping ways? If the Huckster was as smart as he says he is, why didn't he know that Massachusets has no Death penalty, or did he?

This evangelical is exactly the kind of "Christian leader" that Christ was talking about and who eventually killed him. The evidence of what a vile, evil, and hypocritical piece of ectoplasm he is is there on a daily basis from who he has hired as advisors to what his record is. But I sincerely hope that he gets the GOP nomination. And then, when faced with a choice that matters this time the American citizens will make the right choice. If they don't, the Revolution must come now, not after 8 more years of Christian (I hate to use that description because Jesus would condemn these people as swiftly now as he did then)/Taliban consolidation of the government. That anyone could pick the Huckster for anything is scary. What true Republicans should do is to stay away and not participate in this travesty, not that I find the Dems as being head and shoulders above the GOP candidates except for Kucinich. That his campaign has not generated more support speaks volumes about the ignorance of the People!

Huckabee has the manners of a Southern gentleman, which usually means if he gives you a compliment you had better be ready to reach around and pull the knife out of your back.

He is also a Southern evangelical, which usually means he has a “wide stance” on many issues.

Voters will eventually see through this, hopefully before he has a chance to be elected.
