Mccain Lieberman Administration

Town Hall:

Despite New Hampshire being right around the corner, Sen. John McCain took time out of his schedule today to take part in our semi-weekly blogger conference call.

The call started out with McCain being humorous and light. McCain mentioned that he talked with Huckabee and congratulated him. He also said he joked with Fred Thompson that he's going to demand a re-count....

...When asked about Joe Lieberman (who has endorsed McCain), he responded:

"I would definitely want Joe Lieberman to play a part -- particularly in national security issues -- in my administration."

I think it's sad that all these establishment Democrats endorsed Joe Lieberman in the primary, but then didn't rally around Ned Lamont in the general, thinking Lieberman would be allied with them in the Senate.

How big a leap is it for Lieberman to endorse McCain, then to decide to Caucus with the Republicans instead of the Democrats, handing control of the Senate to the Republicans with the VP's tie-breaking vote? Not very.

I've never understood why the Democrats in the Senate have been so timid. Why weren't Republicans forced to sleep on cots to filibuster to keep Bush's blank check going? Why won't the Democrats use their own 41 votes to filibuster a Bush blank check?

Is Reid really that bad a leader?

The only thing I can think of other than fear of Rovian attacks for not supporting the troops, even with public opinion on the Democrats side, is fear that Lieberman will go caucus with the GOP and hand control of the Senate and all the Committee and Subcommittee chairmanships over to the Republicans.

Is holding onto the majority worth the price of one's soul and giving Bush a blank check? I'm glad I don't have to wrestle with that decision.

I have to hand it Lieberman, he played it beautifully. Not only is he still Senator, but he kept the Democratic establishment from campaigning for Ned Lamont, the Democratic Party nominee, and now he has the Democrats by the balls in the US Senate.

And now, he's endorsed John McCain.

He needs to be removed from any political activities along with his death squad Lieberman.

The death duo, "I called it, you kill them" policy from the Israeli lobby.

Together they can continue the Republican tradition of turning America into a huge, reviled loser on the international stage. What is the Rubepublican strategic goal du jour in Iraq? Whatever. We'll be there 100 years in the McLieberman plan. Aimlessly, cluelessly sending civilians and soldiers alike into the sausage machine of strategic disaster. Round and round they go, where it stops, nobody knows. John McCain and Joe Lieberman: making the Middle East safe....for Iranian hegemony.

Perfect.

Two traitors on one ticket.

Now, if you were running for president of ISRAEL, you just might have a fightin' chance.

Mc Cain, you have sold your soul and kissed BUSHCO's butt. You are no American, much less a Republican.

My dad was a proud Republican, and sir, you are no where near my dad.
