Aiming at Obama's signature rhetoric, Clinton said what America needs is someone who can "actually deliver change" not "false hopes."

While the senator was vague, her campaign pointed out to ABC News examples of Obama's liberal positions. In 2004, Obama said he would vote to abolish mandatory minimum sentences for federal crimes. "Mandatory minimums take too much discretion away from judges," Obama said in an NAACP debate.

The Clinton campaign also accused Obama of flip-flopping. They pointed to a statement Obama made in 2003 that he was "a proponent of a single-payer healthcare program." Obama is not calling for a single-payer plan now.

A spokesman for Obama called the charges false attacks.

I am not yet an Obama supporter. I continue to hope that Edwards might prevail. But I can live with Obama as the Democratic nominee. On this issue, Obama is right. Mandatory minimums can get in the way of justice. Let judges decide and be answerable to the people themselves.

Hillary, you cannot grow cajones by talking tough.

Hillary wants to do with health care what the 80's 'pugs did with car insurance. Which is: The law requires you to have a policy, if you get caught without one there are monetary and civil penalties.

What did mandatory car insurance bring? Sleazy predatory car insurance companies that cater to people who can't afford real insurance for whatever reason (either because of a bad driving record of because they are poor). I remember the early commercials when the law was first passed in California. The commercials didn't talk about how you'd be protected if something happens but rather, the fines and criminal penalties you may face if you don't buy their product.

I don't think ridding ourselves of insurance companies all together is realistic but they need to be severely marginalized. They can operate as a provider of extra services, something like Aflac does now (only heavily regulated so it actually provides some coverage).

Hillary is WRONG on health care.
