Aiming at Obama's signature rhetoric, Clinton said what America needs is someone who can "actually deliver change" not "false hopes."

While the senator was vague, her campaign pointed out to ABC News examples of Obama's liberal positions. In 2004, Obama said he would vote to abolish mandatory minimum sentences for federal crimes. "Mandatory minimums take too much discretion away from judges," Obama said in an NAACP debate.

The Clinton campaign also accused Obama of flip-flopping. They pointed to a statement Obama made in 2003 that he was "a proponent of a single-payer healthcare program." Obama is not calling for a single-payer plan now.

A spokesman for Obama called the charges false attacks.

Although there are some differences - he’s from Connecticut and she from, well, New York - Senators Clinton and Lieberman seem to have some basic things in common that appear remarkably Republican. He might be more sincere in his bloodthirsty Republicanism, but then there are her rather consistent Bush-enabling votes, so just maybe she really is, like her husband, Republican Lite. What a pity, really - my wife and I would love to be able to vote a woman into the Presidency, even as we once voted for Hillary as our senator, but by their deeds (and words) shall ye know them. So now for us it’s Obama, nasty liberal Obama, all the way.

Oh good, HARSHER prison sentences. From the Senator who's representing the state oppressed by the Rockefeller Drug Laws.

Nice work, Hillary.

Every time you open your mouth Ms. Clinton, I am more and more convinced that you are a fool.

Of course, we could install Senator Obama as President. I don't believe he'd be any worse than this other fellow we've in there now. But the resultant version would bear his own imprimatur. For a glimpse of what it could be like, observe how the city of Philadelphia is run. Cradle of Liberty, City of Brotherly Love. Ring any 'Bells'? Homicide Capitol of the Eastern USA. Or in the running at least.

It is so amazing how Hillary just does not get it. She sounds like a Republican, and drives the base of the Democratic Party further away. Listen to Obama's speech Hillary...listen to the cheers. You have the power to become a great US Senator, if you would just drop this pandering to the right, to become President. Your "35 years" of experience has blinded you.

Hillary is sinking down the swamp, and her attacks now are nothing more than her moving her arms and legs intensely around, not knowing that is only accelerating her decline. Obama is going to carry NH.. you just watch.

Hillary has turned out to be a monster fitting of the Bush Administration. Fear is her message as it served this administration well enough also. She re-invents herself at will for the goal is simply to be in power via any means possible.

Im not an Obama supporter but he is far superior to Clinton as are the rest of the Dems. Hillary is just plain evil and covert ... America is tired of the Clinton-Bush stranglehold that has brought it to its knees.

Forget it Hillary. The sentence (like 3, 4 and 5 tours of duty and almost 4,000 killed) that you helped give our troops when you voted for the Iraq war resolution, was the WORST mistake one could ever make in the Senate. Bold men like Russ Feingold saw through Dumbya Bu$h's charade. Men like Al Gore and Barack Obama have always spoke out about the war. Even people like John Edwards, John Kerry, Chris Dodd and Joe Biden who also voted for the war have shown remorse for their vote. But not Hillary. She says that Dumbya Bu$h fooled us all. Even though Hillary was married to the President that preceded Bu$h, and would have had enormous inside information about the state of Iraq and their so called "weapons of mass destruction". Then to add fuel to the fire, Hillary also recently voted yes with all the other "Hawks" in the Senate for the Kyl/LIEberman bill regarding Iran. Sorry Hillary, you are not the answer. You are part of the problem.

Of course, these'd be the medium to upper level pot busts and such. Smoke up 'O'.

Obama is the only remaining candidate worthy of being elected. He is the only one whose intelligent positions attract all portions of the political/social spectrum. His positive, unifying message is one that people are striving for. Of course, the 15-20% on either end of the spectrum won't be be impressed with him--they're seldom impressed by anything or anybody that isn't "extreme." Romney, the Republican "chosen one" (following the money) laid out a path to impress the 15% hoping others would follow. He should have remained the pragmatist that he was in Mass. In fact, the G-Man, McCain and Romney all tried to gravitate toward the right with the Robertsons of the world. Huge mistake. Anyway, Hillary's, and John's, attempts to go negative on Obama will backfire--and that's pretty apparent by the discussion here. It's a new election and different times. The old playbooks, much like running an option offense in the NFL, are not going to provide the results she's looking for.

Obama talks about not letting people fall into despair as a way of promoting a just and peaceful society. Hillary would like to spread despair just as a Republican would. There are also people who believe that harsh prison sentences are opening the door to privatized prisons which will need harsh sentencing to keep them full and profitable. Hillary is showing why Obama is the better candidate, more in touch with the way people think.I wanted to support a woman I had a real hard time getting behind her. He is just plain smarter than she is.

Obama is talking my language when he speaks out against mandatory minimums. He is right and she is wrong. Period.
On the other hand I think Edwards is on the money about Obama.

"The aides cited Obama's past assertion that he would support ending mandatory minimum sentences for federal crimes, pointing to a 2004 statement at an NAACP-sponsored debate: "Mandatory minimums take too much discretion away from judges."

This is an opening for Obama. Most federal judges and the U.S. sentencing commission agrees with him. If she goes this route, he should proceed to take her apart, including her husband's role in signing one of the most racist piece of drug legislation in history.

Question for all of the Edwards supporters? What part of John Edward's senate record shows he would NOT cut a deal with corporations? Puhleez.

Sean Hannity said Hillary has something on Obama. Robert Novak reported this in a column and told Hannity the details of whatever the hell it is. Hannity did not say what the details were. If this is true there are possible problems for Hillary:
#1- Its not a big enough scandal and it blows up in her face.
#2- It is big enough and it blows up Obama but destroys her in the process.
#3- Its big enough but it engenders sympathy for Obama.
#4- It works perfectly. Then the middle aged white lady has to go to African Americans and get them to vote for her in the general election after torching their and a lot of other American's hopes.

The dog ain't goin to hunt, Hillary? You won't knock Obama off stride with a complaint about allowing judges more discretion. Better get back to the drawing board.
