I’ve been a planned parenthood supporter for as long as I can remember. I give every year to the National Federation (legislative work) and to NYC Planned Parenthood (on the ground aid). I am tired of their sorry excuse for advocacy. Present in illinois shouldn’t be an option. It’s one thing to excuse representative from S. Dakota but enough is enough. By the way Biden voted in favor of the Partial Birth Abortion act, making it impossible for me to support him. In any case I called PP tonight (1-800-798-7092) and told them I would no longer be supporting them because of their invovlement with the Obama campaign. I will support our local chapter and put the money I put nationally to the local clinics.

If I were President the first thing I would do is.........

I talked to a Republican yesterday and she had high hopes for Fred Thompson, but is now totally disillusioned. The "old Republicanism" could not be recaptured, she felt. I said I thought that Huckabee was "the embodiment of pure evil," and she agreed with me wholeheartedly.

This is just another anecdotal that the Republicans are completely torn asunder and lost.

Is this a lie? Seven times during his time in the Illinois state Senate, Obama declined to take a position on abortion bills.....

I don't think so. You can say he supported choice in other bills and votes, but this is not a lie. That he got support from the local Planned Parenthood. Cool. But, did they lie about the seven times? No. Do you examine it further? No. Let's look further. Shame on the Huffington Post for the Fox-like photo distortion of Hillary.

On the other hand, isn't it lovely that we are discussing the shame of a candidate not supporting Choice or to what degree? It's a good place to be when Choice is a positive for a candidate and is used by another candidate for a comparison.

Dear Hillary Apologists Whining Against the Machine:

There is no machine.

HuffPO did not mind-meld Iowans into rejecting Hillary Clinton in favor of Barrack Obama and/or John Edwards; they did that all by themselves.

Please consider accepting the fact that your candidate is losing steam because her campaign strategy was off the mark. Recall that her Iraq voting record is very Republican-like. Recall that she is trying to win the WH the old fashion way, with tons of money and beltway connections.

What this mailer means, is that either Clinton herself isn't savvy enough politically to know that Planned Parenthood of Illinois practically asked Obama and the other Illinois Dems to vote present (the system in Illinois works a little differently...it's the sort of thing that a smart president would know, but most folks would probably wouldn't understand the difference between "present" and "yes or no"...that effectively, "present" in Illinois means that you're not against the idea of the law, but you don't feel that the law itself would be effective or worthwhile (which is a significant problem with legislation...by the time a bill gets to the point where the Senators can vote on it, it's usually so riddled with loopholes that it's just a ridiculous piece of fluff). Or she's so desperate to win that she'd twist something she knows is totally innocent into a misleading attack.

Clinton's already been informed about all this, though, so yeah...it's just a cheap, dishonest attack.

For the last year, the media has constantly rammed down out throats that "Hillary is inevitable". Now, when a tough article is written, they complain. When she starts placing higher than 3rd place, then she might deserve better coverage. Until then, stop bitching and complaining. Losers don't get positive coverage - because the lost.

Yeah, the whole 'Halo Effect' and the messianic Obama raves have turned me off him completely.

Nominate Obama, and watch the Democrats lose an election that was practically handed to them.

After that happens, I guess I'll just have to sit back and cry ...and laugh.
