Mccain Thousand Iraq Years

Think Progress:

Last week, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said it "would be fine with" him if the U.S. military stayed in Iraq for "a hundred years" or even a "million years."...

...on CBS's Face the Nation, McCain claimed that Americans would not be "concerned" if the U.S. spends "10,000 years" in Iraq:

The point is it's American casualties. We've go to get American's off the frontlines, have the Iraqis as part of the strategy, take over more and more of the responsibilities, and then I don't think Americans are concerned if we're there for one hundred years or a thousand years or ten thousand years.

Just like that the GOP's strongest contender lost the general election.

McCain has his blinders on, again. There is no cognition in his statements on the presence of American forces in Iraq with respect to the remaining 25 million Iraqi civilians (we have already killed 1.13 million of them) who, as Muslims, pray via the Koran DAILY which provides the following:

The classical Muslim jurist al-Mawardi (a Shafi'ite jurist, d. 1058) from Baghdad was a siminal, prolific scholar who lived during the so-called Islamic "Golden Age" of the Abbasid-Baghdadian Caliphate. He wrote the following, based on widely accepted interpretations of the Qur'an and Sunna (i.e., the recorded words and deed of Muhammad), regarding infidel prisoners of jihad campaigns:

"As for the captives, the amir (ruler) has the choice of taking the most beneficial action of four possibilities: the first to put them to death by cutting their necks; the second, to enslave them and apply the laws of slavery regarding their sale and manumission; the third, to ransom them in exchange for the goods or prisoners; and fourth, to show favor to them and pardon them. Allah, may he be exalted, says, 'When you encounter those (infidels) who deny (the Truth=Islam) then strike their necks' (Qur'an sura 47, verse 4)"....Abu'l-Hasan al-Mawardi, al-Ahkam as-Sultaniyyah." The Laws of Islamic Governance, trans. by Dr. Asadullah Yate, (London), Ta-Ha Publishers Ltd., 1996, p. 192. Emphasis added.

Indeed such odious "rules" were iterated by all four classical schools of Islamic jurisprudence, across the vast Muslim empire.

Additionally, there are more than 50,000,000 Muslims in countries bordering Iraq who feel the same obligation to the Muslims in Iraq.

Quite obvious in the political rhetoric of McCain is his forgetting that collectively, those 75 million Muslims in question will be multiplying at a rate to sustain even 10,000 years of US preemptive intervention.

How could the people of New Hampshire, who mostly oppose the war in Iraq, vote for John McCain, clearly he is shell shocked from his capture in Vietnam. Get the straight jacket, and send this man to a insane asylum, quick, it's not November, 2008. Don't vote for this man.

I guess it's time for the Arizona's connection to go back to work and recall the non-working senator from Arizona. I have read the one-hundred comments about Senator McCain and my partner and I have decide to recall the recall of John McCain. Officially as of today, the American For Integrity and Justice will refile the recall petitions on John McCain. Will need donations to help offset the cost of printing of the petitions so if you agree with us, send you you dollars to AFIAJ, P. O. Box 7878, Surprise, AZ, 85374-0114. We would really like to get your help to keep John out of the white house and in early retirement. Help us send him home for retirement. Thank you for your assistant. We need your help to send him home.

Jeeez...

When is someone gonna sweep these fossils off the national stage (McCain, Novak, Robertson, etc.)? They get more ridiculous every day. I shudder to think that people outside the U.S. might actually think that they speak for us. It's downright embarrassing.

It is unbelievable that after 8 years of war, economic, political and moral destruction of the US, so many people will vote for Rumney, McCain, Guiliani etc. who preach war, fear, larger army etc., instead of Ron Paul! Connecticut voted for Lieberman who pushes us relentlessly deeper into the abyss of misery and shame, will New Hampshire vote for McCain?

He is a criminal plain and simple. He reminds me of the dumpy little crooks that are married to twelve different women in twelve states and doesn't think that this is wrong. It's like he has put on some horrible republican body suit thinking that he will become the next messiah in his warped little mentally ill mind. All of the republican candidates are delusional egomaniacs but this guy is scary. His pillsbury dough boy facade hides a
monster.

This is from a man who also want lieberman and cheney in his white house. I have no idea what messed him up so much in the past twenty years or maybe he was really really fubar when he came home after the POW stint and he hid it well. However he came to be this way he's lost as many screws as rudy has had while he was in office. Strange group of republicans when they are trying to out crazy the other.

This morning on “Meet the Press” John McCain was asked "if he knew than what he knows know" would he have voted to take country to war? He said yes. McClain called Saddam the worst dictator ever, he spoke about the Oil for Food program breaking down, and US aircraft being shoot at everyday, what the fuck is this man talking about?

These are the facts, as bad as Saddam was and he was awful, he didn’t not hold a candle to Hitler who murdered 12 million people, Jews, political prisoners, homo sexuals, restarted people and children. Hitler commanded one of the most modern war machines in Europe by 1940, while the US military ranked 19th in the world and declared war on the US 3 days after Pearl Harbor, 55 million died in the Second World War, yet Hitler was a light weight compared to Stalin, our ally who murdered 70 million of his own people. When German tanks rolled into the western Soviet Union in 1942 the villagers welcomed them with flowers. Saddam, who was our ally when the Republicans were in charge.

Not one US aircraft was shot down after the end of the 91 hostilities. Bush 41 could have stopped that war before it even started, but wars good for poor poll ratings due to a failing economy, at least he did not screw it up like he stupid messianic son and the corporate war profiteers, not to mention the neo-con ideologues who beat the drum for war.

The point I’m making, we as a nation are debating the validity of a war of choice, for political, ideological, messianic reasons and most of all, profit and OIL. McCain has gone so completely off the rails that he is defending the indefentisable. In the ABC debates Ron Paul spoke about simple economics, barrowing money from China and other dictators to fight s war of choice destroying the American economy and the US dollar in the process and every warmongering Republican candidate attacked him.

What a nut job. Spend another trillion, kill a million people and still not get health care for all our citizens.

The question should be:

"Will 10,000 dead American servicement concern McCain?"

3 per day. 3 per day.

We'll be over 4,000 before March 15, the fifth anniversary of the Iraqupation.

(03/15/08 - Impeachment Rally in DC.)

At this pace, we'll hit 10,000 sometime in 2015.

(McCain would still be in office, second term, year seven.)

Fercrissakes.
