Erin Burnett

In [Erin Burnett's] list of "Eight Things That Would Impress Me," in next month's Men's Health, the high-maintenance news hottie advises: "Any guy who can plan a trip to an exotic locale, such as Mongolia, Mozambique or Papua New Guinea, would impress me . . . Family is important to me, so round-trip business-class tickets to Australia and New Zealand for my parents would earn you big points in my book . . . I'd be impressed if you thought to send a yoga instructor to my apartment for private sessions . . . Hiring a personal chef to prepare meals for the few nights a week I am home would be unforgettable . .

Give us a break! It was a joke! Anybody who didn't get it is probably insecure .

If Cindy Sheehan looked like Erin Burnett, we'd already be out of Iraq.

We are, truly, a pathetic culture.

C'mon!! It's not like the working-class viewers didn't already know NBC is full of Wallstreet elitists and Corporate crime cheerleaders.

Americans are obsessed with the wealthiest and celebrate Corporate greed though we have the audacity to criticize an elitist for being honest.

We call ourselves "Capitalists" even though you are never invited to the party and, to top it off, we appear appauled when the richest 1% are honest about their apathetic greed and Socially Darwinist behavior.

If Americans don't fight this absurd wealth inequality (tooth and nail), they deserve the Corporate driven poverty and slavery they're getting.

This one has me sort of confused, I've been with better looking women, the one I married isn't but she's a hell of a woman and easier on my wallet than this one. Evidently quite a bit more of a woman since she's dealt with me for 15 years and that is actually something.

Well, good luck to the sucker who buys...

interesting, as all of these items involve spending money (no foot massages for her!), and some of them a great deal of money...

sure doesn't help to combat the view of women being golddiggers looking for a sugardaddy...

Hey Erin, why don't we just skip the list and I'll cut to the chase. I'll just drop off a suitcase full of money on your front porch. Tens and twenties OK?

Those making derogatory comments about Erin are displaying childish ignorance of the woman, and either do not watch her performance on CNBC or cannot comprehend the big (to them) words being used. She is not only very nice, but is obviously highly intelligent, earning very high respect from the financial leaders she interviews, and does it all with an excellent sense of humor. Further, she does not yell into he mike to get her points across, as do some. There is no question that some of these people who delight in trashing those they cannot equal or to whom they feel inferior reflect poorly on our population. Without apologies. I hope that I have stepped on a lot of deserving toes.

The "International Superstar" sure acts like she's bigger than any prima dona that NBC Universal has in their stable. She supposedly is this nice farm girl from Maryland, but geeeeeez, this lady's high maintenance. At least she openly admits her high maintenance. Many women I've been with are HM but would never be open about it, then let you find out when it's too late and she's got her nails in your neck. It took me a while to figure out that being with someone was, indeed, an investment. She'd have to worth the time, effort, money and yes, love to to be with. Those best investments turned out pretty well for a long time. I wish the investment was for a much longer term and cashing out was bittersweet but with no regrets.

Let's see if EB could say this now.

So a good looking woman tells the truth about what she wants and people freak out?

What - did anyone think that she was going to fall head over heels for some guy driving a freakin' Yugo with $100 in the bank?

I tell you what, for all she is asking for...on those few days she is able to be home, those yoga lessons are going to come in mighty handy.
