john McCain rode the Straight Talk Express straight into first place in New Hampshire, and back into the thick of the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

"I hate to use the word kid, but I think we showed the people of this country what a real comeback looks like," the Arizona senator told The Associated Press in an interview Tuesday, savoring victory in the state he won eight years ago during his first White House bid.

Gotta give McCain creit for one thing at least...how many married guys can pick up a wealthy, attractive flight attendant, divorce the wife, marry the wealthy, attractive flight attendant, and use her address to file, as a carpetbagger, to run for congress?

McCain is like voting to Re-Surge the Surge and isn't the status quo great in a slightly altered state?... Does America want a 100 Years War or at least a best case scenario a decade or two long one? This will never fly in this country or what's left of it... Do we really want a crusty old man that looks and acts like an angry hamster "my friend" running things??

Can people connect the dots? Corporate profits, Lobbyists, Iraq War, Bush War Debt, Blackwater, Added National Debt, Record Balance of Trade Deficits, Lower Valued US Dollar, Tax Cuts, Less Disposable Middle Class Income, Mortgage Crisis, Inflation, Energy Costs, Healthcare costs, etc.

McCain is old, his skin is cold, he has a belly, he smiles funny, he ain't handsome, he says dumb and scary things about bombing Iran. People are tired of these war-mongering old men, straight-talk or not.

Maybe they could just let him be president for a week or two without control on the nuclear bombs (of course!). But, that man will not become president. No way!

After ruining 2 holiday family get togethers, I put my foot down and asked my wife to please speak to her sane sister to suggest to her wing-nut husband to stay out of my face with the FOX talking points, or I would pass on the family pre-Christmas gathering. He got the message and was pretty good, but couldn"t resist cornering my wife"s nephew"s girl friend who grew up in Boston, what the people of Mass thought about Mitt and she responded "not much. " It was fun to watch his head almost explode".

I really don't understand why anybody would vote for this doddering fool. Not only would your great grandchildren be paying for his endless wars, your great grandchildren would be fighting wars for their great grandchildren to pay for.

And on top of that, he wants amnesty for illegals. Sure, he doesn't want to call it that but a spade is a spade is a spade.

STRAIGHT TALK EXPRESS MY AZZ.

The weirdest part of Romney's concession was the music played as he and his cyborg family left the stage. The band played "Love that Dirty Water" -- Wha???? I took it as a slap at the lack of regulation in New Hampshire.

The Poor Republicans!! McCain and the Neocon 100 Years War, Mitt the Bush admirer and Blowhard Extraordanaire, Rudy Mr. 9/11 Fearmonger, and Huck the Good Ole Boy Zealot fall guy! Vippy summed it up pretty good too!
I forgot Thompson, reminding me of an old crude joke about a "turd in a punch bowl", or perhaps in this case, the analogy should be "turds".

MITT'S MEDICAL ISSUES TO BLAME

From the Journal of the American College of Neurosurgeons blog:

"We understand that Mitt's "misstatements" may all be a result of a medical operation Governor Romney had about a year and half ago. To get rid of the gnawing inside, he went into Mayo Clinc for a ethiclotomy. That's the surgical procedure, very popular with a certain class of businessman, where they make a micro incision behind the ear and into the brain then vacuum out the little organ where the conscience resides. But as is all too typical with this class of patients, the surgeons couldn't find the damn thing. I've heard through the medical grapevine that the doctors didn't want to lose their fees--they're businesspeople after all!--so they just sucked something else out. Some suspect it was his heart." Neurosurgeon in Dallas

"The theory in our Neurosurgery Department is that the damage occured while the whole family was going through their annual "Stepford" renewal treatment last spring. As most of you who work at teaching hospitals know, this is the suite of medical procedures that ensures perfect children and spouses, great teeth, a very WASPy attitude, and a very very fat wallet. We've heard that during one of the minor surgical processes, the last tiny vestige of Mitt's soul may have been removed by mistake. Mitt's soul had shrunk to the point that the technicians thought it was just a large pimple on his buttocks. When the doctors were out of the room, one of the custodians, probably an illegal immigrant, apparently popped it. So there you have it!" Cedars of Lebanon Hospital, Detroit

Jesus is Our Savior! No New Taxes! Protect Our Borders! Double Gitmo! Go Mitt!!!!!

As a Massachusetts resident who has known Mitt Romney since 1994, and who voted for him!, let me tell you the guy has turned himself into a soulless bundle of ambitions. He promised us repeatedly, publicly and privately over the course of at least a dozen years that he:

1. Would defend a woman's right to choose for herself regarding abortion;
2. Would be a stronger advocate for gay rights than Ted Kennedy;
3. Would be a strong supporter of gun controls.

My wife and daughter have, fortunately(at least as far as I know!) never had an abortion; I am not gay and a moderate on gay rights issues; and I am a gun owner. Nonetheless, I don't appreciate being lied to. Either Mitt was lying then or he's lying now. If you want to believe anything this man claims, God Help You! He may be competent, but he ain't got no soul, no core, no compassion.

McCain will only perpetuate the occupation of Iraq for greed, as will any Neo-con war monger right wing profiteer for the pursuit of oil and Christianity republican facist. He like Bushs' "it's my way or the highway- wave your flag and get on board- or your not a good patriot" follow me and don't ask questions like a good little soldier mentality; doesn't understand that aggressive war against religion only aggressively creates endless religious wars.

McCain-Lieberman, I hope so, the "over the hill gain" will be complete. Watching McCain's speech was like watching paint dry. He read it without taking eyes off the script. Liebercon would be the kiss of death if McCain makes it out SC. If these 2 guys ever did ran together all the Democrats would have to do is show the pair of them pandering along with Delay to the Zionist Christians last fall, what a bunch of nuts?

Mitt speaks differently to every one he's talking to, in New England he sounded just like a democrat. I guess he has to practice on his southern accent for SC and maybe the teary thing for Michigan. The guy is like a Ken doll that can be bent in any direction.

I watch Ron Paul on C-Span since not one-network covered him. How do your own supporters boo you? As usual he made some good points on foreign policy, but when he got into Katrina things got really strange, suggesting that the residents of New Orleans needed guns more than food and water. He said the Federal government had no responsibly to muster its recourses to provide emergency services to a devasted region. He stated that the Americans had no right to own a house or a car etc. only the right to freedom. So what is he suggesting, I always thought that I had right to both, if I worked for it, I never asked for anything for the taxes I pay, only that my government would give dam. If this is the case than there is no point having a Federal government. Dose that mean corporate interest have the right to bring back child labor or dump heavy medals in your ground water.

The Republican"s are in serious trouble, on this go around.

Would SOMEONE please ask these Republican candidates why their adherence to the concept of 'strict constructionism' with judges doesn't include strictness for the 4th amendment, habeas corpus, and co-equal branches of government instead of just for decisions on abortion??? What hypocrisy!!

None I would guess since IRAQ violence is down the number would be zero.

So we only care if it's Americans that are being killed? Iraqis are still being killed on a daily basis.
As for McCain, he is 71, not in good health, so it is likely that you'll be electing a Vice President to serve the remainder of his term if he is unable to. How about President Lieberman. The thought of that makes my skin crawl.

Romney has been relying on his like-ability to get votes which hasn't been effective at all. Instead of spending all the money on his campaign, he should just hand out the money directly to people to get them to vote for him. I'm sure Blackwater wouldn't mind spending some cash to get their troopers into the US with Romney's help. Blackwater is contributing to his campaign. That's the really scary thing about Romney. How many civilians has Blackwater killed in Iraq ?
