Barack Obama pronounced himself "still fired up and ready to go" after a second-place finish in New Hampshire's Democratic primary.

"You know, a few weeks ago no one imagined that we'd have accomplished what we did here tonight in New Hampshire," he told supporters. "For most of this campaign, we were far behind. We always knew our climb would be steep.

"But, in record numbers, you came out and you spoke up for change. And with your voices and your votes you made it clear that at this moment in this election there is something happening in America."

He congratulated Hillary Rodham Clinton on a hard-fought victory and asked the crowd to give her a round of applause.

"All the candidates in this race have good ideas and all are patriots who serve this country honorably," Obama said.

You need a little more than to be fired up bucko.

You better get your no-go-show-boat in overdrive and mash the pedal to the floor.

Clintons are by any measure the dirtiest people in politics and you better figure out a way to deal with the dirt other than hiding your head in the sand.

Ask John Kerry how his pacificst approach to campaigning worked for him. Not so well as I recall.

And he is still a jerk with no record to speak of. If he wants to be President let him go to Uganda where "President Obama" would be a natural fit. The USA stands for United States of America - NOT the United State of Africa.

I am so proud of Senator Obama! The person who would lead this great nation of over 300 million people from all over this planet needs to be strong, resilient, a statesman, a visionary, optimistic, hopeful, inspirational and above all a leader in times which are difficult. That is what Barack Obama and Michelle showed us last night.

This nation has a question to answer. That question is which direction do we choose? Do we choose the path that allows the establishment to do as they please again? For them to continue to rape and pilage our nations treasure for status and wealth while ignoring our will. Or do we choose to take back control of our nation? To revive the constitution which has been trampled on. To regain our moral standing and dignity in the world. To treat each other with dignity and respect.

In order for change to happen we have to look in the mirror and change that person from within. We saw how Bill and Hilary reacted to their challenge on monday by attacking the media, the state of NH and their staff. Then last night we saw how Barack and Michelle reacted to their challenge with LEADERSHIP, INSPIRATION and COMMITMENT.

There could be no better contrast to the difference in who showed America who the better choice was.

Yes, you can choose this great man and his wife to lead this nation! Yes, you can choose to change the direction of this nation! Yes, WE CAN heal our nation! "Yes, We Can!"

As for Obama, I have this to say:

It's smart for Obama to suggest "people are either hopeful or they are cynics." It's smart because lots of people outsouce their thinking to candidates and those people will say "oh, there are only two choices...I'm either a cynic or I'm hopeful like Obama." Then no matter how badly Obama disappoints people, he can just say "oh, they are a cynic." Or if someone questions Obama's record or asks him a tough question, he can just say "oh, you must be a cynic."

I think this shows Obama is fearful of tough questions---and not the hopeful guy he says he is.

Newsflash: there are more than two choices here. One choice would be called asking hard questions of ALL the presidential candidates and not letting any of them get away without close scrutiny.

Any truly hopeful candidate will be confident in their positions and welcome this.

Obama has "second choice" endorsements from Richardson and Kucinich. Add their totals to his, and you get 42%. Edwards will be out by the end of February. He'll likely (after a hold out) go with Obama. He'll be fine, and he will be the nominee. My prediction is it'll be him versus Romney, for whatever it is worth. Romney's the "chosen one" according to my sources. McCain and Huckleberry are mere distractions. McCain trounced Bush in NH previously. It didn't mean squat, and his victory last evening doesn't mean squat.

So, Obama is "fired up" huh, does that mean he is going to continue preaching about how the "Boomers" are holding this country back. About how the 60's are dead? How the "young" are going to save the world?
Heard it all before and it hasn't changed a thing!!!! What changes things is when we all of us get out and vote, thus showing these gutter snipes that someone is out here paying attention!!! Hundreds of thousands of men and women died for this right to vote but these people know that about 50% percent of us have more important things to do on election day. So much for sacrifice!! They can say and do anything they want because they know most of us are not going to be listening. Its not the "old" folks keeping us back Sen Obama; rather its "no folks" keeping us barefoot and on the *****. Start preaching that and you may start a fire..

We would expect Obama to do better in urban areas, not so according to these results, he did better in small communities, hogwash. Here is a lesson in how to steal an election, Hillary only won in areas where the Diebold machines were used.

I wish Edwards could get a 527 from Emily's List or a union group to expose Obama and Hillary. Obama needs to be exposed so his rich white zombie followers can see him for what he is. I hope Hillary "Swift Boats" him. His supporters are rich white college kids who never did an honest days work in their lives. We union people are watching our jobs being sent to China by the elites like Bush, Obama and Clintons. I am true blue Edwards.

Obama is the candidate for wealthy white people. He is not for the working person like Edwards. I just see a lot of wealthy guity whites supporting for Obama. I hope Edwards can turn it around. I am union true blue. If I Hillary is the candidate then I can probably hold my nose and vote for her or McCain. I laugh when all these wealthy white people talk about how Obama will bring America together. Obama and his zombie followers are all elites or rich folks.

I respect people that vote for Hillary Clinton, I cannot say the same for people that vote for John Edwards. He hangs around collecting 10% here 15% there, to what end. Ralph Nader voters were really George Bush voters, when they started complaining about George Bush and the war, I tell them to f ### off, you got what you voted for. A vote for John Edwards is a vote for Hillary Clinton.

John Edwards, the skunk who continues to invite himself to the garden party.
