ABC Political Radar:

It seems everyone has his or her own blog these days, and now the White House will join in on the action.

On President Bush's eight-day trip to the Middle East region, senior staff will post entries about the trip on the aptly named blog, "Trip Notes from the Middle East."

"As we leave for the Middle East trip today, we will begin posting periodic updates from the senior staff that's traveling with the President on a website -- on our website, whitehouse.gov," White House Press Secretary Dana Perino told reporters Tuesday.

Blogging or no blogging, it seems that the President is probably putting the final touches on the attack on Iran. Nothing in the past weeks suggest any change in the practices of the Israeli ruling circles: It has been some 60-years of procrastinations, delays and expansion that led The Israeli people, the Palestinians, the Middle East and the world, to the current 40-year old impasse.

Today, after bringing into submission most Arab regimes, and canvassing and helping in the drive towards war with Iraq, Israel's fears are directed at a new emerging Iran as a powerful Middle East player - mostly as a result of the US failure in Iraq and the inevitable victory of its allies in Iraq, currently indeed, the US' principal partners.

As a result, it seems that the task of President Bush's administration, and probably that of a future President Clinton, is to bring down the regime in Iran, or at least cripple it as was done in Iraq.

For the administration and its associates representing the oil industry - Iran is a prize acquisition. For the Israeli ruling circles the Iranians demonstrated an ability at conventional and semi-conventional war (through Hizbullah, in the Lebanon) that affected the military imbalance in the Middle East. This is historically an untenable position for Israel's ruling circles, since their strategy over 60 years is based on military superiority - although waning and getting eroded since the near-defeat in 1973.

But doing this on their own is neither militarily nor politically possible. It has to be President Bush, and possibly a future President Clinton, who will have to do it for them, and at the same time takeover the black gold wells.

We might as well get ready for a minimum of gas rationing and a maximum of a World War... For, I don't think the radical Mullahs will take it kindly, or meekly as the Palestinian Authority leaders do.

The media as a whole is being way too quiet about the Bush trip. That may speak reams about the whole purpose of the trip. Perhaps, the trip is to discuss with Israel the "plan" for attacking Iran, including the excuses for such an attack.
Getting their stories straight and their ducks in a row, don't you know.

Why don't they blog about that bullshit "incident" with Iran in the Straight of Hormuz? What a bunch of BS!! The accent of the people making the "terroristic" statements sounded slightly Texan to me. Pure bullshit. Don't buy it.

First you want me to believe that he reads. Now, you want me to believe that he can type and compose a complete sentence? I think not.

Iraq is probably safer for Bush than Washington D.C.
