I Like ItI Don’t Like It

I caught up with Alan Colmes last night outside the Manchester Radisson — situs of all political and media hobnobbery in New Hampshire — and we shot the breeze a bit about the race. At this point the polls had closed and everyone was buzzing about the incredible, unforseen upset that had taken place. Among other things, I asked him if he could think of a more exciting campaign season — he said that actually, no, he couldn't, and pointed out that "it's the first time since 1948 that there's really been no heir apparent in either party." We also talked about Giuliani, Bloomberg and Duncan Hunter — who is still in the race, in case you hadn't heard.
