Bomb Threat Forces Cancellation of Giuliani Event

A bomb threat forced Rudy Giuliani, campaigning in Melbourne, Florida, to cancel an event today at some defense contractor with whom he's probably got a confidentiality agreement. But I thought he had a firewall in Florida? Oh, well, no matter, because whenever anything bad happens in the world, it's good for the Giuliani campaign, and so he faced down the terror with real tenacity and went to some airport hangar to talk to a bunch of reporters about tax policy, just like a real American hero!

Does this mean Rudy is going to ask that America pause to reflect upon his Presidential-caliber bravery every year on this date? Probably not: 1/9 doesn't really have that same roll-off-the-tongue ring of 9/11. Same numbers, though! So: Never forget!

The only bomb threat in Florida, is Rudy. He's threatening to bomb there, which would essentially kill his already dying campaign.

He probably had it done for him! He has been tied to people who are on trial for crimes, and I think his hands have become very dirty.
He has made so much money that he has been corrupted absolutely.

Not to be cynical but desperate times call for desperate measures. Given all the rather unsavory characters in his past, how difficult would it be for his campaign to assign such a task?

Perhaps Carly Simon should update her song to reflect Mr. Guiliani. Though humility is not trait common in New Yorkers, Mr. Guiliani's vanity is indeed something to behold.

The "bomb threat" was really only a warning about his campaign's impending implosion not EX-plosion.

The bomb he really should be focusing on is his own campaign. And please HuffPo, enough with the pictures of Rudy in drag. It's enough to drive some with the Giuliani campaign to commit a suicide bombing.

rudy called in the threat, he wanted to be a hero, just like he pretended to be on 9/11.

and the bad news is that all available police units were called to the scene and Judi had to miss her nail appointment.
