Hillary Clinton Jon Stewart
Last night on "The Daily Show," taped when everyone believed Barack Obama would handily win the New Hampshire primary and before pundits started dissecting whether Hillary's tears actually helped her win, Jon Stewart reacted to the media circus surrounding Hillary's "emotional breakdown."

"That's it? That's the emotional breakdown that blows the election for her? I'm glad no one here ever sees me get a flu shot," Stewart said.

And... calling it her "comeback?" please, she lost a caucus and its called a comeback when she wins one primary.

And can you imagine that Pat Buchanan is the only one making some sense?
I'm getting scared folks.
Matthews is playing it again and Pat is pissed off at somebody right now.
me too.
aiyeeee.

Mr's Hillary Clinton cries her way to victory in New Hamshire by 3% with an emotional connection to older women winning there vote by 67%. Mr Obama Must now figure a way to combat Tears if he is going to be the Democrat Nominee for President .

The lack of hyperbolic response to hillary's saline solution moment of attempted humanization is likely due to the missing dramatization by writers' - who haven't written an ending to their never-ending story.

Sorry to put a damper on all the comments here, but I won't watch Stewart until his writers are back with him. As much as I love him, as long as he's scabbing on the Writer's Union, I refuse to watch him or Colbert.

And this has changed my whole view of him too, I'll never see him in quite the same light as before...

Another fallen hero...

The emperor's new clothes. Why is it a comedy show is the only one to point out the obvious--she didn;t cry! Sheesh!

I am so sick of the pea-brained pundits who can only hold one shallow, stupid thought in their heads at a time. Thank goodness, the voters are smarter than they are.

My favorite line was when David Frum, Bush speech writer re-acted to the idea that voters didn't want Rev. Lovejoy (Huckabee) as president.

It's better than having Homer", Frum replied.

"We already have 'him' as president", Stewart replied.

Thank You Jon Stewart!
The voice of sanity.

The coverage and spin that these bastards (including Olbermann these days too -which it really pains me to say) is insane. They barely attempt to analyze anymore. They really try to sway the outcome.
I watch and watch and get more and more pissed off at what I see and hear.
Either I am insane and extremely stupid or they are slimeballs always looking for the ugly and rejoicing in pain.
I'm not stupid. even a little. insane on the other hand...

I watch these deliberate mis-statements of what someone else said by Matthews et al and I feel like I'm watching Fox, or Monty Python.
For instance; Bill Clinton gets upset and says that throughout "15 debates" no one has subjected Obama to hard questions and scrutiny. Mathews and friends then say he is insane, losing it, and that Obama was just on Meet the Press and Tim did nail him down.

Meet the Press is not a debate. I watched the debates. I agree with Bill. And I am voting for Obama in the primary. Not one candidate has received the grilling, scrutiny, questioning of motives, would be analysis, projection and negativity than Hillary Clinton. And it ain't coming from the right though they pushed the dialogue in that direction... or should I say the monologue.

I could name a million of them. As I watch them I'm appalled that no one is challenging them on it.
Edwards yells and he is passionate, Hillary raises her voice and she is angry and shrill.
Edwards and Obama attack Hillary and they are pointing out differences, Hillary does it and she is attacking, playing dirty tricks. Obama isn't innocent, his surrogates (which are never called that) have pulled some ugly stuff and did you hear Jesse Jackson's son today?
Holy Hell... talk about cynical, nasty dirty tricks.
They all make me sick to tell you the truth.
The pundits most of all.

Women reacted to the sexist beat down of Hillary by conservatives, pundits and Edwards.

Ironically Obama did not attack her character just her positions.

Finally, someone with a sense of truth and humor and satire is back. Jonathan Swift must be in heaven eating a bunch of Irish babies. ”I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled ...” Maybe some of the uptight pundits could just eat each other. And please don't write that I am cruel...learn your history lesson. I said satire!

Lyn LeJeune- Rebuilding the Public Libraries of New Orleans and "When Igntius J. Reilly Worked at The New Orleans Public Library and I Went Crazy at The Port-O-Call" at www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com. Extra! extra!
all new with satire and all seriousness, folks, The New Orleans Chronicles.

I am soooo glad the voice of reason is back. Ever since that non-story ran amuk about her supposed "tearing up" is just making me laugh. I kept saying that myself when I first saw the clip. "THAT'S IT?!"
