Roseanne Barr's Wild Tirade Against Obama, Oprah

Roseanne Barr has published a profane rant on her website attacking Barack (misspelled "Barak") Obama as a supporter of "corporate racist anti worker bullshit." Barr also tears into Oprah Winfrey, who allegedly "plays the race card and the gender card" and is a "closeted republican."

I have no doubt that she voted her purse by doing this, as she is a large land owner in California, and that ilk fears Dems because they do not want to pay their "fair share" of Cali tax. Oprah has given us Swartzenegger and Dr. Phil. If that was not offensive enough to decent thinking people, now she brings us Obama. He has no ideas, no plan and nothing to add other than the cynical pacification of the masses with bedtime stories about hope, while calling Unions "special interest groups" that need to be done away with.

Obama votes with Bush constantly funding this terrible endless war.

For what it's worth, Barr praises Hillary Clinton as a "seasoned woman politician with 35 years of experience" and John Edwards as "pro union."

O'Reilly on Oxycontin-or any other of the conservatives talking heads on radio.
Stop putting this post up already. The rant of this Barr Chick did not deserve even being dignified by a comment.

Roseanne got me a little curious when she said Barrack is "a supporter of "corporate racist anti worker bullshit." So, I did some checking myself.

While I agree with Roseanne's point that she eluded to of selling out the American working class, I must admit I was surprised by Barrack Obama's top contributors looking rather "similar" to Hillary's. Both seem to have some rather large friends on Wall Street. Plus, both seem to have also racked up some impressive debt with their campaigns.

Dennis Kuchinich and John Edwards don't seem to have large friends on Wall Street, and have no debt.

Just some food for thought. There's the data, draw your own conclusions.

I am so sorry for sounding like I don't like Oprah or Obama. I do. Oprah has been a force for good for a long time, and I just got carried away with my preference for Hilary over Obama. I think she is smarter and better than he is, but either of them is better than any Republican, and will get my vote no matter who ends up on top. I got upset because I felt Oprah was adding to the divisiveness in this country. Now hold on a sec! There are lots of figures, including those with official ties to the HRC campaign, who have written extensively on Huffpo. It may be that (as is true in much of the liberal blogosphere) Obama has more proportional support on these pages than in the Democratic Party nationally. But the various leading candidates have been well-represented at Huffpo.

Although I support Obama as the best of the Democrats with a chance at the nomination, it's unfortunate that there aren't at least a few more voices here for Kucinich, who represents a significant progressive stance within the Democratic Party.

Incidentally, I think Lamont's endorsement
should take some of the wind out of the sails of those who, like Roseanne Barr, attack Obama as an 'empty suit', 'anti-labor', not a 'real progressive', etc. Obama is running to win and understands that if you rock the boat too much, the White House is out; nevertheless, like many Obama supporters, I still agree more with the positions of Dennis Kucinich on the Patriot Act, funding for the war, and other areas where Obama has unquestionably compromised himself.

Many people want the impossible -- a politician who is uncompromising and still a winner. Sorry folks, not going to happen in the way this society is REALLY run.
