Roseanne Barr's Wild Tirade Against Obama, Oprah

Roseanne Barr has published a profane rant on her website attacking Barack (misspelled "Barak") Obama as a supporter of "corporate racist anti worker bullshit." Barr also tears into Oprah Winfrey, who allegedly "plays the race card and the gender card" and is a "closeted republican."

barak obama is an empty suit selling "hope" in lieu of Truth. Oprah Winfrey helped to elect Arnold Swartzenegger. I have no doubt that she voted her purse by doing this, as she is a large land owner in California, and that ilk fears Dems because they do not want to pay their "fair share" of Cali tax. Oprah has given us Swartzenegger and Dr. Phil. If that was not offensive enough to decent thinking people, now she brings us Obama. He has no ideas, no plan and nothing to add other than the cynical pacification of the masses with bedtime stories about hope, while calling Unions "special interest groups" that need to be done away with.

Obama votes with Bush constantly funding this terrible endless war.

Oprah, you play the race card and the gender card too.

You are a closeted republican and chose Barak Obama because you do not like other women who actually stand for something to working American Women besides glamour, angels, hollywood and dieting!

When Americans find out that Obama backs right wing corporate racist anti worker bullshit, they will not vote for him, and the victory will go to the most racist right wing republican ever.... Mccain, who is a fascist!

For what it's worth, Barr praises Hillary Clinton as a "seasoned woman politician with 35 years of experience" and John Edwards as "pro union."

If, as does Roseanne, you have your doubts about Obama, but, unlike Roseanne, you have your doubts about Clinton, then consider Edwards. Pro-labor all the way, he's the most likely one of the three to truly fight for what you believe in. He is an eloquent fighting machine. Anybody who can't get past the haircut, it's time to, and truthfully examine the third tier candidate. He's anti-corporate all the way, not an appeaser like Obama, nor tainted like Clinton.

As the late great Fela Kuti said: "I must look and laugh". This business about Obama voting for the Patriot Act, does anybody remember the jack-booted attitude that was prevalent at that time? Even if he had voted against it, would that have stopped it from being passed? With the exceptions of people like Barbara Lee, Kucinich, Ron Paul, what were the other "leaders" in Congress doing? To make that vote a litmus test is ridiculous. Using that logic, Eugene McCarthy could not have challenged LBJ because he voted for the Gulf of Tonkin resolution.
Roseanne Barr is a vulgar comedian who desperately wants to be a focus of attention again. To throw mud at Mr. Obama for being anti-union and then to praise Mrs. Clinton, former board member of Walmart, only reveals the ignorant perception she has.

Why does Rosanne's comment get into print. She is not smart and has no respect for this country. The media should be critized for even printing her comments. As for her supporting Hillary Clinton I am sure this will take votes away from Hillary. As someone said Birds of a Feather. Hillary and Rosanne a perfect match. They deserve each other

Will this rant be included with the tape of Ms Barr doing the US national anthem? If some producer has access to Ms Barr's contrversial tapes & puts them together-she might have a tape that will outsell uncensored versions of Jerry Springer. She may not get another show on the networks for a very long time. The money could come in handy for Ms Barr till she gets another program on a network or in syndication. There are clubs in NJ & N Ky who'd die to get Ms Barr to do a new act & have it recorded there.
