Another Clinton book is on the way, this time by the best-selling author and former editor of The New Yorker, Tina Brown.

"The Clinton Chronicles," to be released in 2010 by the Broadway Doubleday Publishing Group, will be Brown's first book since "The Diana Chronicles," a biography of Princess Diana which came out last year and has more than 300,000 copies in print.

"The Clintons have a political and emotional partnership that continues to defy all expectations," Brown said Thursday. "As I did with `The Diana Chronicles,' I plan to explore not just the enthralling story of the Clintons themselves but the social, political and media context of the times."

Given that the market is already saturated with biographies of the Clintons, it is not surprising that sales of the most recent Hillary bios have been dismal. If Hillary loses to Obama, Tina Brown can look forward to even bleaker results for her own tell-all.

The Clintons are so 1990's. They're a lame, tired subject and I really don't think the world needs another book about these people.

The less you know about the topic, the easier it is to write about it. Imagination is more conducive to a hot story then is honest research.

Who cares? It'll be another redundant, hyped waste of paper for the remainder shelves by Tina Brown. Crap like that should only be available for download, saving trees the embarassment of eventual use. Better to be milled as toilet paper.

Ms Brown still isn't a threat to Ms Huffington. Tina still hasn't started a web site which is as successful as HP. Spare us the puffery about Ms Brown or work that she is shopping. Wait till she gets a publisher, a large advance & a team of competent ghost writers who have written the book for her. It would be a good idea to hire a speedy editor so her book can be printed quickly. She isn't Ms Huffington.

Didn't Jerry Falwell already do a "Clinton Chronicles" and get thoroughly sued for libel.

A long time ago, Brown used to actually be a journalist. Not anymore......
